Beautiful design, low quality

I love these stockings, I've made several. One of the biggest things I've noticed is the difference in the quality of felt and thread. This one was definitely lower quality which was disappointing and I ran out of some sequins and thread. I called the company and they sent more free of charge which was excellent on their part. Despite the quality it still turned out very lovely and I'll buy more stockings in the future.

Nice project but cheap floss

These are really cute projects and not too hard (if you sew and have pretty good eyes) to put together. However, I really did not care for the embroidery floss that was included. It is very flimsy and prone to tangling. I have three other of these to complete. I replaced the Bucilla floss with DMC, which is a much higher quality floss and SO MUCH easier to work with. (You have to use a color conversion chart available online to get the right DMC floss.) The replacement added a bit to the cost, but when you put all this hand stitching into a project, you want to have quality materials. Also, I used transparent (nylon) thread to stitch the front of the stocking to the back to avoid switching floss when the colors changed. The needles they provided worked well and the instructions were okay. There is a whole bunch of YouTube videos to help with construction.

Family tradition continued a success

The media could not be loaded. Very time consuming. But directions are step by step. Follow the steps and you will be fine.

Overall very easy to complete

Not enough green sequin beads to complete project. Call and they sent more sequins instead of bead. I’ve made close to 30 of these beautiful stockings. Have noticed lately that the thread they send breaks very easily. Not sure if old or just poor quality. Overall those I have gifted love them.

I love these kits. I’ve done one for every member of our family. They take time and patience, but are really quite easy to complete.

Wonderful stocking for our new grandbaby due in October

I have made everyone in our immediate family their own Bucilla stocking. My children are adults now and still hang up their stockings in their homes. This kit was perfect for our grandchild due the end of October! It came with Baby's first Christmas ornament kit as well. Love love love.
