Perfect size
Great paper, nice backing and sturdy rings. I love square sketch books and this smaller size is perfect for travel

Nice but not quite 12X9
This is a nice book and is what I was looking for to use on a project. The problem is, while the height does measure 12 inches, the width is not a full 9 inches. Plus, you loose almost a 1/2 inch of paper from the spiral binding. I wanted to be able to put a full piece of paper (8.5 x 11) on a page. If the width of the pages had been as advertised this would have been possible even with the loss from the spiral binding. Now, I will have to trim my paper with a paper cutter and lose part of the paper so it will fit. Not happy about that. It really should be the size advertised. I don't think that is too much for a customer to expect. Otherwise it is a very nice book.

Only slightly damaged on arrival.
It came with 1/3 of the hardcover bent. I’ll probably just keep this one in my car or something.

Nice sketch book. I usually purchase Strathmore. I tried Canson on the recommendation of a friend, and purchased this 160 page book instead of theCanson 9-Inch by 12-Inch Universal Sketch Book, 100-Sheet bound sketch book, as it seemed more economical. Good quality. Would like it if the pages were thicker with a more tooth. The paper is fine quality for sketching out and experimenting and practicing new methods; the paper thickness reflecting a 160 page sketchbook at this price. A good deal, and entirely appropriate for students or those who do a lot of work and who burn through a hundred pages quickly. Recommend, unless you need more heft and tooth to your drawing page -- in which case, the paper count will be smaller to make the pages manageable. For greater heft and substantive tooth, I enjoyStrathmore Series 400 Sketch Pads 9 in. x 12 in. - pad of 100 ; I can't speak to the Canson 100 page or their medium weight products, as I've never tried them.

Good buy
Not sure if anyone else had this issue but for a 9x12 the pages are small, I buy 9x12 all the time and when I received mine the pages were smaller than my normal ones (which are the same brand, different series) I decided to go with a harder cover just because I sketch on my lap from time to time. When I got it I immediately noticed the size, maybe that doesn't bother some, or its only my issue, but other than that I like the book, great hard cover, tooth a little smoother than I prefer. Overall its still a good purchase, and a good product just be cautious of size issues. I attached images one is both 9x12 books same brand different series laid next to each other, the other one is of the smaller one right on top of the bigger one showing the width being smaller, and the last one is to show the side of the page with both books opened to an untouched page.

Copics blend pretty good!
I have used copic set of greys to draw some zombies, I have never used copics before and wasn't sure if this is gonna be the right paper. I am not a professional artist,I do it for fun but atm i feel i really like this sketchbook . You can use- Brush pen Pigma pens Prismacolor Copics (I love copics) I am not sure if this paper is good for watercolors

Very sturdy!
Great product quality. The covers are very sturdy and protect the pages very well while being jostled around inside my backpack. The spiral spine is very nice, too. Very easy to turn the pages over without getting caught or ripping. I use this notebook for pencil sketching and I've had no issues with any part of this product.

Great professional everyday sketchbook
I bought the 5x7 but realized it was too small and also got the 7x10. I wish there was something in between like 6x8.5, but am pretty happy with the 7x10. It's perfect for sketching with a regular gel pen, doesn't bleed through the pages. Wire bounding is good quality and the harder covers have a nice matte professional looking finish. I use this for engineering sketches and carry it around with me everywhere I go and it's holding up great.

Great sketchbook!
This is a wonderful sketchbook! It is very portable, paper is a little thinner than expected but it was fine for graphite and charcoal. I don't think you should use this for watercolour or any heavy or wet mediums. It came earlier than expected which is always a plus. I really like this sketchbook. It's great for me, and i recommend it!

Good quality.
I have yet to use this sketchbook as the instructor in an art class I am taking seems to have requested more supplies than necessary. However, it will get used once spring and summer roll around as it is portable and discreet to carry.
