Functions good
I don't like the plastic dumped tray. It functions good. Nice size

Poor charger cord
Haven’t played with it much because the cord won’t charge the battery. It’s got to be positioned in exactly the right spot, the right angle, and with the right pressure in order for it to charge. It’s really disappointing because the actual toy is way cool and my son wants to play with it all the time but there’s just no way to charge it.

Cat remote Truck
Nephew loves it.SUPER KOOL. Best one yet..out of all the trucks I bought him THANKS????????

Not in retail packaging, seams like aftermarket
The remote feels like it will break, the dump bed is warped. It didn’t come in any retail package, just a cardboard box (with CAT logo on it) with no instructions or warranty information. Not comparable to what we saw in the box stores.

Grandsons love this
We gave this to a 4 year old. He loves it. He can work the remote himself. It is tough! Recharge battery in the truck has a good long charge. It is fast and the dump bed works well also. I will buy another one for other grandson.

Missing Essential Parts
Was super excited for my nephew to get this. We were going to ask him to be the ring bearer for our wedding and have this drive up to him with his other gifts. Unfortunately, it was missing the battery pack and usb cable (though the usb cable was a moot point without the battery pack). We would have exchanged it, but it needed a 2-3 week shipping time and my nephew was only in town for another two weeks. So there was no sense chancing it. We ended up just asking him and giving him his other gifts. Nowhere near as fun and exciting as it could have been with this driving them to him. Disappointed to say the least. I would have given it one star, but I understand supply chain issues right now. So I gave it 2 stars for ruining what would have been a much more special moment.

What awesome, remote control, my grandson loves it.
My Grandson is into marble runs and all the marbles go in the back of this and than he would dump it back on to the marble run. Very fun, we was all fighting over it to use. Thank you so much.

WARNING! Complete garbage. And a fire risk ????!
I’m not normally a review writer, but this was so bad felt the need to warn others. I bought this for my son for his 5th birthday. Made for a very sad birthday. The first truck I got was defective, so we returned it and it was replaced with another one which was also defective. Here is a breakdown of my experience with both trucks. 1st truck: Son opened it on his birthday. After charging it, we turned it on and it only went forward very slowly, dragging its rear wheels. The second row of wheels would not turn freely—like the gears were locked up. I forced them to spin and eventually heard a loud crack, and then they spun and worked properly. After about 5-10 minutes of use the truck started intermittently being unresponsive. It didn’t seem to be sluggish like it had a low battery. I would just work at full speed for a few seconds and then stop. I thought maybe the battery was low so I went to plug it in, and that’s when I noticed it had melted its own charging cable when charging earlier. Could have caught fire if left long enough! My wife mentioned she noticed a burning smell while it was charging but didn’t know what it was. Status: returned. 2nd truck: Unpacked from box and noticed the steering control on the remote didn’t spring back to center. Figured it might still work. Charged the battery, plugged it in, and sure enough, it only turned one direction. And, surprise, he second row of motorized wheels were jammed again, but this time I couldn’t get them to turn—they struggled and maybe turned one full rotation, but that was it. Oh, and guess what!? After about 30 seconds the truck would not respond to any inputs from the rc controller again. Mind you, I used brand new batteries for the remote in both trucks I had. My disappointed son watched as his replacement birthday present struggled and didn’t work. He said, and I’m not making this up, “is this from the dollar store? Because it breaks really easy like the dollar store toys.” TL, DR - defective, cheap, dangerous. Don’t buy for your kids unless you want to see them sad and disappointed.
