It was late getting to me but it finally came in

Pot worked out as described. Shipping was slow and all most had to buy a different one for our party but it showed up at the same time I was going out to buy a replacement for it.

Good bang for the buck

Worked out perfect for our first crawfish boil. Aluminum is alittle thin gauge and the lid came warped. Nothing alittle massaging back into shape couldn’t fix. Best bang for the buck. It’s a pot!

Awesome!

This pot was a success for the first boil this year! The handle which I was worried about breaking (due to other reviews) was actually very sturdy. I had about 15lbs of crawfish, along with my veggies in there and had no issues! The only thing is it turned black super fast. But other than that it was super easy to use and super happy with the purchase! Highly recommended if you like doing boils!

This is a big pot!

I would easily recommend this product if you are looking for a big pot! I will say I had to wash it outside, but that really isn't a big deal. You have to be strong or have two people if you plan on moving it filled. I had to move it off the stove to pull the basket and definitely needed help. This was perfect for a 15 person shrimp/crab boil and it could have easily fit more.

Great value

Received the pot the other day. Everything seems to be in good working order. The basket only sits about 1/4” off the bottom of the pot, so you’ll likely want to buy some bolts, nuts and washers to put through the basket in order to raise the basket at least an inch to an inch and a half off the bottom of the pot. As for value, you can’t beat this kit. We went to a commercial food/cookware store, search for one before we ordered this one. There you had to buy all the pieces separate and the cost was going to be $136. It was a slightly thicker gauge aluminum, but still, this $66 pot seems to be thick enough for the casual steamer.
