Sold separately, simply cover the table with the fitted lid for safe and tidy storage. The lid (sold separately) keeps the contents of the table clean and also acts as a flat usable surface. For this table we recommend 20 lbs. of Kidfetti (sold separately) or 50 lbs. of sand.

Sensory tub

The only thing negative I can say about this product is the wheels don’t lock in place and it didn’t come with the lid. Other than that it’s been a great product.

Excellent quality table for the great price!

Great sensory table for home use! I’m a stay at home mom/substitute teacher so after seeing a few classroom quality sensory tables, I decided I wanted one for my kids. I took a chance on this table because it was at the right height and a great price. For less than a quarter of the price of the classroom tables, this one is working out fantastically! It is tall enough for my tall 4yr old to not have to bend and just tall enough for my average 2 year old. It will grow with them for a few years for sure! Set up is super simple and quick! Quality wise, I am happy with it. The frame seems sturdy, 2 wheels lock to keep it in place and the tub is very sturdy. So far we’ve had 20lbs of kinetic type sand in it and half a tub full of water beads (prob 15lbs or so) and the tub is very sturdy! No drain, but I didn’t want one. Tub can be easily picked up and dumped, but won’t just slide off/out from the kids based on the design it hangs on the frame. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase! Didn’t want to spring for the extra $$$ for a lid and it works fine for us without it.

Perfect!!

Perfect size for my 2 1/2yr old granddaughter and 7yr old grandson! We use this when we can't go to the beach (live in Hawaii). They love to play in the sand what can I say. lol I didn't get the lid but used the popcorn wrapper it came in and used clips to hold it down when not in use. Can hold (2) 50lb bags sand but we just used 1 for now. That way not so much sand flying around. This one said was damaged and I got good deal but the only thing I saw was small cosmetic color flaw. Rest was perfect! Super easy to put together! Might have to get another one...even larger size!

Great playtable, lid sold separately

This sensory playtable is great. The 36 x 24 inch size is perfect for 2 to 4 kids to play around it comfortably. Having a drain would have been nice but not a must as the table is easy to remove from the legs and empty. However, I was disappointed to see that it didn't come with a lid. Instead one had to be purchased separately for nearly 2/3 of the price of the table. It appears that prices on all preschool related products have jumped significantly this year.

Item came cracked...

Ordered this for my grand daughter and item was received damaged. The box was undamaged but the table itself was cracked. Working on processing a return, but disappointed now that she will have to wait another 2-3 weeks before she can enjoy her Christmas present. Looked like a good table, but frustrated having to mess with the return process and wait time.

Good Buy

We purchased this table for our sensory-seeking 4 year old and he loves it. We have filled it so far with rice and water to give him different experiences. The table is sturdy, holds well, and is the perfect height for my son to stand beside and play. I'm assuming sand would work in the table too and it could be used outside. We use our inside in the play room.

This is a great table except our table doesn't sit right

This is a great table except our table doesn't sit right; one leg doesn't go all the way to the floor so we had to play something under it to balance out everything. The plastic did show some non-color (white) and there is no lid that comes with it. *We knew that when we bought it however. Other than that - it's fine.
