Fun product, and less "slobberific" way to play catch with our dogs.

This thing is a blast. First of all, one of our English Springer Spaniels is a ball fetching, chasing, sometimes-retrieving maniac. He will play ball seemingly forever. My wife and I aren't quite as energetic, so sometimes he simply tires us out. My wife also has some neuro-muscular challenges that make it tough to trow a ball. In addition, not everybody likes handling a slobbered on and all goobered tennis ball after it's been lovingly retrieved a few times. Enter the CHUCKIT Launcher. We already have a CHUCKIT ball that the same Springer has enjoyed for quite some time. The Launcher is well made, and resembles a Jai-Alai wicket/basket/cesta. This item comes with two such wickets, so two people can play catch. Throwing and catching requires some level of athleticism, but it's not horribly difficult and it's undeniably fun. As for our dog, within minutes of starting out, he figured out how to bring the ball back to me, and place it in the bucket of one of the launcher/wickets, then he'd take off the wait for the next toss. I was able to carry on with him much longer than before, as the launcher adds a level of mechanical advantage, and makes throwing longer distances easier than by hand alone. We've only had the Launcher a few days, so as I get more experience, I'll return here to update, but for now, we love the product and absolutely enjoy using it...and our dog says "WOOF!:

Useless glorified dog toy

Another cheaply made useless product. Is too fragile to handle an adult size throw or use. Needs practice just to use. There’s no need for the arch or curvature. Dogs chew it up and end up with gums bleeding (so put it away)

Just doesn’t work like described ????

It just doesn’t work as described. It’s uncomfortable to use, hard to pick up the ball, and doesn’t go as far as earlier versions. It’s disappointing.

Does not throw far enough for a lab. 30-40 feet.

Not good

I can't use this and neither can my dog walking friends. Not easy to scoop up like the usual chuckit and very difficult to launch. Waste of money. Can I return please?

Doesn't work well

These don't work the way you would expect. When you throw it, the ball goes straight up and it's not possible to catch in the launcher. you still need to pick it up off the ground. Stick with the original chuckit, it works waay better
