A Cleaner Cooktop

Cooking causes splatters. It's a fact. But when my co-chefs in the family kitchen don't clean the splatters, it's up to me. These splatter screens have cut down on the dirty cooktop making my life a little easier. The mesh screen is very fine and catches oil and other splatters. It's heavy enough to sit will on top of the pan, but also light. And these are very easy to clean.

They are the right mix of sizes for my fry pans and so far work good, easy to clean too.

These are really nice - Update

All stainless steel construction out of heavy gauge wire frame. Fine mesh center. I'm pleased with this purchase. Update after 2 months. These are not holding up. The largest one that I use the most is brittle and comes out of the dishwasher with a new hole every time. You touch it and it rips. Not satisfactory after such a short time.

Good value and gets the job done!

I’ve read many reviews on almost all the splatter screen offerings on the Internet. Some very expensive, some sturdier, metal, plastic, you name it, I read all the reviews. I settled on this set of 3 because even though they weren’t the most robust they were all stainless steel and priced correctly. I figure any splatter screen will eventually get dirty or worn out no matter what you do so this seems like a good value for 3. I just tested it out with frying some eggs and it worked 95% perfectly. The only splatter probably occurred when lifting the screen momentarily to turn my eggs which is not really the fault of the screen itself and is inevitable when you think about it. Definitely worth using because it cuts down on the amount of cleaning afterwards. Not sure how it will do with a steak but I’m sure it’s better than nothing. The medium size also fit perfectly snug over my sauté pan which is exactly 9-5/8” across.

This product was OK. It does serve its purpose on making sure that if you have oil or something else in your pot that it does not splatter, but after using them one time I did notice on the actual screen itself that there they became burnt. I wouldn’t buy this product again

Just ok.

Disappointed that the sizes were off for most of my pans, leaving several inches hanging off to burn and blacken when used. The search continues.

Is as described

Product used as described. Small tear in large screen after single use.Not quite as robust as desired. Otherwise satisfactory. One of many on line purchases that needs to be physically seen, touched, etc to ensure what is being ordered is what is desired.
