This has a sturdy frame & the widest seating surface... and a deal-breaking flaw
I had high hopes for this chair. It has a sturdy frame, the widest frame (slightly over 27" in betwen the seat frame tubes) & the widest seating surface (just over 25" in the area where it matters most) of any chair of this type... but it also has a deal-breaking flaw. You would think that a chair promoted as "500lb Capacity" would have the seat surface fabric extend all the way past the eyelets (i.e.: eyelet holes are punched in that fabric), right? Or, since they chose to put a different color fabric in the center, surelyit would at least have double overlap & double rows of stitching holding it to the blue fabric that *does* go to the eyelets, right? Well... NOPE! That gray center fabric is held to the blue fabic with just a single row of stiching that's not much more than 3/16" from the edge. This explains why quite a few other reviewers have posted photos of the seam ripping apart... because that's eventually what will happen, just from the stress of somebody who weighs half the "500lb Capacity"

Very Nice albeit Beastly Chair
I received this chair recently for a camping trip to Ontario. I figured during down time it would be nice to be comfortable. I bought this chair because I'm a big guy and I wanted a study chair. I'd say it takes the big chair to the extreme. It is the widest chair I've ever used. It was wide for me and that's saying something. Most people would probably say "too wide" it it was nice for me to have extra room. The chair seemed very sturdy. I had no worries plopping down in it. My only knock is that it just wasn't as comfortable as some of the other zero-g chairs I have used. I assume that's a trade off for the sturdiness. If you are looking for a great big guy chair, this is it. You will not be disappointed.

HEAVY DUDES REJOICE! This IS the chair for you!!
Just to be clear since the reviews for various chairs are grouped together, I bought the BLUE chair with plastic arms and the 500-lb weight capacity. I'm a little over 400, but I was still very excited to maybe get a chair that would be really solid and THIS IS IT! It's extremely comfortable because it has the bungee cords along the sides and no steel supports in different places to cut into your legs or cut off circulation. Folds and unfolds easily. The width is excellent, too. Just can't say enough about how comfortable it is to sit in. I really like the molded plastic arms. Very study to push off of when you're getting up. The chair never even offers to tip. I used this for a local festival all weekend right after I got it and it never felt wobbly in the least. It has really thick legs (kind of reminds me of the ones on the heavy duty Lifetime white plastic chairs). I am extremely pleased with the build and functionality of this chair. I've used it several times since at cookouts and other get-togethers. That being said, I WISH they had put a few more minutes into the side tray - that thing is completely USELESS. It doesn't fit tightly down on the braces on the side, so it wobbles and sits at an angle. I've looked at why and if they just poured the molding underneath a little differently, I think it would be fine. I'm going to do some trimming of the plastic underneath to see if I can get it to sit in there correctly, but I should not have to do that! That's the only reason I rated it 4 stars. Everything else about this chair is FANTASTIC!!

A great idea just not well executed
I bought 2 of these chairs and found them to be sturdy, heavier than I would like, but expected this as you don't get heavy duty without more metal in the frame. Comfort is going to vary with the user, but I found this chair reasonably comfortable but concluded that it really needs a pad or thick blanket to cushion as the fabric seems very strong and stretched so tight that it doesn't give much when you sit . Things I did not like: The snap-in side table for one of the chairs was damaged beyond repair in shipment. It's a piece of molded plastic and right out of the box, one was in pieces. This could have been avoided had the unit been packed better rather than just thrown into the box. Better yet use a thicker or stronger plastic that will take some abuse. Now I suspect that even the intact item will likely break as we try to use it. The recline feature is not well thought out and is hard to get the chair to recline. My wife with shorter legs than me simply could not get the chair to recline without my assistance. I'm almost 6'4" and I need to do some fancy leg work to get the chair to recline There is a lock-in-place feature, which is nice, but I discovered a small key wire included that is supposed to be used to prevent folding the chair while the lock is engaged. It's a silly design as you have to be out of the chair to install that key so I doubt we'll ever use it. Because so many folks want to know where our purchases come from, the chair is clearly marked as made in China.

Very sturdy
Most chairs are not built for heavier people. This chair is very comfortable and you feel like you can relax and not worry if it’s sturdy enough

Immense et très confortable
Enfin une chaise solide et confortable. Vraiment confortable. Elle est très large et a l’air vraiment robuste. Le temps nous dira si elle résiste à l’usure, mais pour le moment, je suis extrêmement satisfaite et je n’ai pas peur que la chaise s’écroule sous mon poids!

The side table is faulty
side table is slanted so stuff falls off and I had the whole table fall off. It’s not flipped to the chair it rests on the chair… other then the malfunctioning table it’s a great super wide chair
