Decent handheld needs a better antenna
Works great with the roof top antenna. The other antenna is useless.

Breaker 19
As a first responder and lieutenant for fire police it's not easy to reroute truckers on a busy highway. So besides using trucking map apps I am finally able to put out traffic reports while out of the unit and directing traffic. A lot of the drivers are very greatful that a fire department has a way to communicate with them and both of use agree every fire department should have a cb radio. Great because you can use it in the vehicle or portable and is quick to swap to another vehicle truck or even use anywhere. Sometimes we use on job sites because other 2 way radios don't work. Thank God for 40 channels and able to use the higher channels

Decent little CB radio
Decent portable CB radio with weather band. Got the version that also came with a magnet mount antenna. Honestly I can't transmit to anyone or hear anyone with the included screw on antenna. The magnet antenna works great though.

Great in the car, better than nothing in the bush.
Loved the rooftop antenna. In the car i couldn't be happier. On the trail, it quickly lost range. In the hills, I expected some communication loss, but with the attached antenna, once out of shouting distance, there isn't much to be done.

Breaker, Breaker...GMRS makes this a dinosaur
If you're a trucker with JB Hunt and wanna go old school, then this is the one for you. It's a convenient portable, but outdated now.

AA batteries leaked acid and ruined unit
This unit worked fine for a few months but when I went to routinely check the batteries today, I found that the batteries had leaked acid all over and completely destroyed the unit. I wouldn't mind if this were a backup $20-30 radio but for $80, I would have expected this thing to use a better battery system lime lithium ion or something. Disappointed because the handheld concept is pretty cool. Guess tried and true receiver units are just all around better.

Great if CB was still a thing…
Purchased to listen to truck traffic back and forth from Boston to Bangor but unfortunately little to none air traffic. Does pick up “Skip” from down south occasionally. Comes with all the attachments you’ll need and has great features. Still kind of fun and no buyers remorse. Breaker, Breaker Good Buddy what’s your 20?
