What is a wort chiller? A wort chiller is a heat exchanger designed to cool your wort to yeast pitch-able temperatures at a rapid rate, forming the cold break. The heat from the wort is conducted by the copper and expelled through the chiller's outlet tube, which cools the wort in an extremely efficiently manner. Immersion chillers are most popular among homebrewers.

6.75" x 3" x 14" (coil diameter x coil height x inlet height). The inlet has a standard heavy duty female garden hose fitting, also made in the USA. Vinyl tubing comes assembled with (2) 4’ lengths, or 8 feet total. Leak free compression barbs keep your immersion chiller from leaking back into your wort during the chilling process. Made in the USA (Michigan) from pure 3/8” copper tubing. The compact 15' copper immersion chiller is the perfect size for these batches and easily connects to your kitchen sink with a sink adapter (not included). Perfect for the kitchen homebrewer that is making extract batches. Typically, with extract batches you boil a smaller amount of concentrated wort (1-3 gallons) and then add clean cool water before adding the yeast.

Kinda meh.
To be fair, I'm in korea and the fitting won't screw onto my hose bib, so it's a pain to use right now. But the real problem I have with it is that the hoses were collapsed at the connections to the cooler when it arrived, so the flow is poor unless you squeeze the collapsed sections to open them up and hold them that way the whole time. My suggestion would be to send it without the hoses connected and include two worm type hose clamps, or increase hose size to 1/2" and eliminate the fittings at the copper tubing by just sliding the hose over the tubing and clamping. Probably save money that way too. Or just use silicone hose instead of pvc.

Thing gets cold!
I bought this for something else, too cool water. Used a cooler with ice water, dropped a fish pump in to pump cold water through. As long as I had ice water, my reservoir stayed wherever I set it.. I bought a temp control. Very cool. Better than a chiller if you have unlimited ice, no heat, hardly any power. But fill ice every 2 ta 3 days. I bought a chiller lol. But this is great for what it's for. I used it, again to cool my hydroponics, it worked!!! Just lots of ice to keep it working, and I don't have a good deep freeze
