Perfumed fabric but soft and comfortable relaxed fit
It arrived soaked in perfume or scented fabric softener. I have washed it 4 times and I can't get the scent out. It was in the original package and appeared to be new. I had to put the discarded packaging outside because the scent was so strong. I don't know if they all smell or if mine had a mishap at the warehouse. I normally order a L in shirts but I followed the measurements provided by the sizing guide and ordered the XL. It is one size too big. Should have ordered my normal size. I missed in the description that it is relaxed fit. I am used to thermals being tight fitting and needing to order a size up. The fabric is like a thick soft t -shirt and the edges have a smooth hem. It seems comfortable. I have not been able to test it for warmth. As for quality, I will say I washed it in hot water, amonia, and dish soap and it has held up well. Still smells floral though.

Comfy
Impossible to tell with a picture, it’s a soft knit, more sheer than expected. Washing in delicate cycle will extend its durability. It’s so comfortable! True to size.

It serves my purpose.
It’s a off white and I thought it was supposed to be pure white.

Thought it would be a tighter fit.
I'm 5'6" and 145lbs. Purchased this in Medium based on info from other reviews. I live in tropical climate but will be going to Canada in late September so got this to wear under my tops along with a fleece jacket, as opposed to traveling with a bulky winter jacket. From the photo you'll see how it fits. I would've loved if it were tighter fitting so it would go on below my tops, but perhaps the Small would've fit awkwardly as the sleeve length, plus the chest and shoulder sections fit just right. So the loose fit around the stomach area and the arms are where I would've preferred to not be so loose. I'll likely end up layering below it, then have my jacket over it. The fabric seems durable and is as warm as I anticipated. I washed before trying it on, and no shrinkage/distortion.

Very warm feeling
I used it in my trip to South America, very cold weather in the south. I used one to sleep at night, never felt cold even temperatures of upper 30's. Also I could wear it under fleece jacket no need for more layers. I didn't use it to be outdoors for a long time

Good value for the price
This material adds a decent amount of warmth at a light weight. Just tested over the weekend camping/hiking in 30°-40° weather and they worked well. The only negative is that it's rather porous, so if you're wearing these and, say a pair of jeans, the wind will permeate and you'll still feel chilly. If you wear a wind-proof outer layer, then these work well. They don't seem to be made of a wicking material, but they aren't advertised as such. With that in mind, this product works well as part of a layering strategy. Also, be aware that this is the most "basic" product on the "coldness" scale that this company makes. Don't expect this to keep you warm if you're going to be out in sub-freezing temps for any significant time.

... it on out of the package and it fit fine, but it looked like the sort of thing ...
I tried it on out of the package and it fit fine, but it looked like the sort of thing that would shrink in the dryer so I dared not put it in the dryer. Sure enough, it shank in the wash, and continues to shrink each time. I should have just exchanged them, but I kept the two I had bought and bought two more of the next size up. The next size fits great, so I would recommend ordering a size up. A little dissapointed that the size L taggless came with tags... booh! No one likes tags. The material doesn't look as nice after a couple of washes either, but if you are hiding it as a base layer then that's not such a big deal. It does it's job keeping me warm and comfortable.

Runs very large.
I didn't even try this on to see how warm it might be, it was just too big and I knew I'd be returning it. It felt like a higher content of merino wool than they say is in it, and it seems like my other base layers (at a much cheaper price) as far as durability, washability, etc. I think if you can get your size correct, it would be awesome. Note about Amazon/the seller: Amazon says this seller offers exchanges, but when I went to start one, it only allowed me to return the items - with no pre-paid label option...it doesn't seem like a huge deal to have to go to the post office, but my post offices are grossly understaffed and it's no less than 30 minutes every time I go - that in and of itself was reason enough to not try for a smaller size - I don't want to go through the hassle in case those don't fit either.

Disappointing!!
I brought this to wear under my netball kit during the winter. It was brought based on the product description and picture. I purchased this thinking it was going to be a sports base layer suitable for playing in. It arrived and looks and feels like a Marks & Spencer's thermal long sleeved vest!!! I also purchased this based on the picture displaying the product as 'white'. It is in fact a dirty cream.....admittedly, it is a 'base layer' in the loosest of terms but certainly not what I expected. I kept the item as it will come in for those winter walks with the dogs but most definitely not being used for the purpose in which it was brought.

Poor quality
Quality is poor, and the fit is poor. Also the colour isn’t true white, it’s a grubby off white. In hindsight the supermarket jersey thermals are better quality & similar price.

Nice top
This top is warm, looks good and feels great. The color is NOT white like in the pic it's more like a light beige and looks more like long under ware (something you wear under your shirt and not by itself), I wear it under my running top and it keeps me pretty warm on my winter runs. ~Nancy

Not happy
This was advertise as 100% merino wool. It does NOT have wool in it at all. I am very disapointed wth that. It seems that they do have one in wool, but it's not this one. False representation. Not a happy customer here.

Aye
Not for working out. I mean if you like Cotton blends to work out in, do it. I wear it to the gym but it is a little thick. It's a little short on the bottom. It's cozy. The color faded after a few washes.
