thought the brand would speak for its self but these pads protect very well but don't stay on your leg and have fallen apart in just a few sessions at the the gym. I train fairly hard and the don't stay in place and spent more time messing with them than training. DO NOT BUY

Great for Kickbox Training, and Hold the Legs Well

This is the first pair of Combat Sports shin guards I’ve trained with and I am completely sold! I’ve been using these for kickboxing and mostly when I’m doing bag work. They’ve really helped cut down on bumps and abrasions. They hold well around my legs and don’t shift around or need adjustments as much as the ones they offer at the gym. The difference is really apparent when I go through drills and get a lot more kicks in because I’m not pausing to readjust. They feel solid and durable and have worn well so far. The front pieces feel leathery and have a good layer of foam padding underneath. The front of my lower legs, from about 3 inches below my knees down to the top of my instep, are covered by a solid pad. There’s an extra layer of protective foam along the front of the shin that’s about 2 ¼ inches wide at the top and tapers down to about 1 ½ inches at the bottom. The top of the foot’s instep area and toe box are also protected by 4 sectional foam pads. In terms of wearability, these shin guards are very lightweight and comfortable. Note that when I first pulled them on, I was worried that they were going to be too tight as it was fairly snug getting my feet through the tops. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that they felt terrific after pulling them on all the way. The snug fit at the top is not constricting, and really helps to keep the guards from shifting around during my workout. These Combat Sports Gel Shin Guards do the job very well and are now a permanent piece of my training gear.

Comfortable, good protection.

These are comfortable, easy to put on and stay in place. My son says they are very good protection in his kick boxing class and the shin guards have held up well with almost daily use.

Heavy duty

Heavy duty. Thick and fit great. Love these to block and kick. I do this just for fun but can not wait to use these with my workout. The size is nice also and the coverage of the feet so there is no injury. I received this for my honest opinion and was not compensated for this.

Not worth the price.

Not worth the price. Never stays put on your foot and is very delicate and flimsy i only got a few months use out of it
