Advice Given To Those After You Buy This

Just like the picture shows this body protector protects from lower abdominal to the shoulder area. But what the picture doesn't show is how hard & how solid this product is which allows it to absorb hard strikes. But I guess what can you expect from a company like Combat Sports who always put out quality martial arts equipment at reasonable prices. And by the way this will be my third purchase from them. For I first bought a wrestling dummy from them, then I bought a belly protector of theirs, and now I got a full body protector from them. With all 3 being of high standard. But here's some advise to those planning to purchase: make adjustments to your shoulder straps before you put shoulder straps on shoulders. But don't try to adjust shoulder straps while the straps are on your shoulders.

Good cushion-material and design

It does provide good protection on the ribs (and belly). Because this guard contains a firmer outer-cushion bonded to a softer inner-cushion, it distributes the impact force over a larger area inside, hence reducing the local stress on your body (ribs). Also, the outer covering and inner lining are tough. I gave it one less star, because the strap-attachment angle/position at the top could have been such that the straps don't tend to rub against the sides of the neck.

Its just good for boxing

It is very Hard, if you need to kick this is not going to let you. Its just good for boxing

Not what I expected

My boy and I take Krav Maga and Muay Thai. We were told that this product would take hard kicks and punches, NOT!!! Either my son kick too hard or punches too hard and this does not help at all. In the storage for now

Great pad!

Good coverage, solid protection against hard punches, knees and kicks. Lightweight for easier mobility. Definitely recommend.

Sparring vest

I did not like it , was to hard and the body shot to the vest hurts, sorry I don't use it .

As described.

It is pretty firm, doesn't wrap around as much as I thought it might based on the picture. It was also pretty short on my torso, I am 6' even and with the straps all the way out it didn't go low enough to protect vital areas. Would be great for shorter persons, ladies, and kids.
