Not made with natural rubber latex. Made of thin, 1/16" (1.6mm) perforated neoprene with a terry cloth liner that helps keep skin cool and comfortable. Fits well

These have helped me quite a lot!
These splints for my arthritic thumbs, have helped me so much. I have severe pain in both of my thumbs, and wearing these helps support my fragile joints. I wear them mostly at night time, when I tend to curl my hands up while I sleep! I'm really happy with this purchase. I do, however, wish that they came in a lighter color for the summer. I have to say they are not the coolest item I have ever had to wear on my hands! Maybe a light color would feel cooler. I know that they would get soiled much more quickly, but the black ones are hot on a summer day! Anyway I'm happy I spent the money on these splints. only four stars because I can't wear them much now that the weather is hot, and I know that they have to be made of this fabric in order to do the job, but they ARE hot!!

Not good for long term.
This is my second review. The first one I gave was 5 stars. When I first got them they were so comfortable and the support felt so good on my thumbs. I have severe arthritis as a base of my thumbs on both hands. I realized their not as good as I thought they were. The cost and how long they wear is not good. They fray very easy after one day and look like their old and nasty. They are very warm even in the winter. I found myself ordering them quite Frequently. They also give you washing instructions, but I found if you wash them you might as well just throw them out. After you wash them the Velcro is no good.

Very Comfortable & Supportive
This brace is the exact same one I paid $75 at the local medical supply store! I needed one for my other hand but didn't have a written prescription. A friend said to look on Amazon and there was the exact same brace for half the price. It is very soft yet supportive for thumb joint pain. I was so happy to find it at this price and did not have to drive to town to pick it up!

Very good product and comfortable to wear
Good product, well made and is doing the job for me. I add an arthritis cloth glove under mine to make it even more stable and improve the fit. I would recommend this product either way

Good thumb support
If you need to wear the splint everyday it won’t hold hold up well. Pulling and fraying of the device. I just reordered a second splint because it’s fraying at the top. It’s also very hot. However it does support the thumb well.

Costs 1/3 of what you'd pay at the ortho clinic!
Totally LOVE this product, I bedazzled mine with crystals over the logo, but it's AWESOME and I use it all the time! Best of all, the same one at the clinic was over $70, so this is a bargain!

Love the support but the smell is awful once your ...
Love the support but the smell is awful once your hand has sweat in it. Washing removes the smell but you only have to sweat in it once and the smell is back. I don't sweat a lot but I have to wash these almost every night.
