Excellent

They're expensive, but they really do protect you from super high heat - better than the run-of-the-mill oven mitts. I also like that they protect your forearm as well. When you're handling stuff in the kitchen that's much hotter than normal it's nice to have that extra protection.

Stands up to high heat

These are great, they come up to nearly my elbows and stand up to heat as high as 500 degrees. They're pretty stiff and hard to handle anything smaller than a big baking pan. Best used for when you have to grab a pot and just get it out of the oven fast.

Heavy weight - well made

Thick, heavy, good quality - high heat resistance. I think the quality construction will make this one last a lot longer than cheaper ones.
