Commercial Cool 16" Wall Fan

Box arrived damaged and appeared to have already been opened and not re-taped but I went ahead with assembly. I don't know how they get the parts packed in that box, the packaging was terrible. Now the fan. I bought this to replace the exact kind of fan that lasted 16 years, just a different brand although the resemblance to the old one was uncanny. I installed it with the enclosed hardware on the wall of my garage. The fan seems to work well. The remote buttons all do what they are supposed to. I don't really understand the "natural" or "sleep" modes. They cycle through running and stopping and then starting again. To me, hi, med, low suits my needs. My biggest complaint so far is the screw that needs to be installed to attach the fan body to the wall mount. It was nearly impossible to line up the screw on the front of the fan with the threaded hole in the wall mount. Two problems; I was unable to get close enough to look through the hole in the front of the fan to try to match it to the wall mount and secondly, the threaded hole in the wall mount was tapped from the back which created a situation where you had to align the fan to the wall mount EXACTLY rather that if the wall mount would have been tapped from the front which would have created a small recess around the threads and you would have likely been able to move the screw around and center itself in the threads. Without an endoscope, I would have never gotten the fan threaded to the wall mount. Many reviews reported failures after a short amount of time. I'm hoping those folks got a poorly assembled fan and that mine will last for many years.

QUIET AND EASY TO INSTALL

i definitely love it! It is quiet, but very efficient with the capacity to turn from a high volumen to soft breeze at the tip of your fingers and great price, i feel i stole it.

good fan poor remote

Fan works great , cool breeze and it helps to spread my weak central air in bedroom but remote control is either defective or fan remote panel is bad but so far so good with everything else.

Watch for broken items.

Product had one piece broken. Had to repair item. The shipping carton was all beat up. If I didn't need it right away I would have returned it. Once part was repaired item works great.

This is NOT a Commercial Fan.

The fan oscillating mechanism is noisey and clicks which is aggravating. If considering purchasing this model beware of the noise that is generated should you elect to use in the oscillating position. Mechanism for Oscillating needs to be improved and metal. I have already disposed of two fans using the same mechanism as they failed and needed to be replaced. I was under the impression that by upgrading this issue would be resolved. However after inspection, the manufacturer of the oscillating mechanism needs to consider modifying and improving .

Not as described

The air it kicks off isn’t too bad but oh my god this fan is so loud! A lot louder than the floor fan we had and I didn’t think that was possible. The remote works great BUT….. when I’m using my CABLE remote some how my fan starts to change modes or starts to rotate. It blows off good amount of air but it doesn’t function as stated so I’m giving a 3 star

Great fan

Love how this fan has a tilt down position so you can get it to your perfect personal preference. The different modes are a nice option as well. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.
