These are pretty good for their price point

These are pretty good for their price point. They're definitely more pigmented and more vivid than standard crayola pencils and while they do blend, they do take a little work to achieve a good result. The black is quite black and the white shows up pretty well on black paper. My only issue with them, is the set I received, the wood was very cheap and on one pencil was flaking apart making it difficult to sharpen properly. If you're looking for a good set of pencils as a beginner, these are good for the price.

Very good art pencils

Love these pencils

Second time order of these pencils. Very nice quality. Smooth, lays color down very well. Soft, yet not too soft. The colors are great. With both sets there has been 2 to 3 pencils which chew up the wood while sharpening. That's my only complaint. I will continue to purchase these. I have several other brand pencils, including prisma, and i find myself reaching for the crayola brand.

Comparable to Prismacolor Premiere

Bought these for a drawing class- the core is firmer than expected, but still nicely blendable. The wax builds nice and slowly so you can get a lot of nice layering. My teacher was impressed (and he's a bit of a snob for the more expensive brands). If you want to save a couple of bucks on supplies, get this one instead.

Soft lay down...

These colored pencils are nice I will say. They lay down smooth and easy and look nice. I would recommend buying these.

Breaking up?

these are great fans the issue is with the wood and how they made these pens so when you sharpen them they shatter I've had three pinched shatter in the last week brand new ones that I bought a while ago but I just open I can't even return them now cuz it's too late

Nice pencils

These arrived the day after ordering in excellent condition. The barrels seem to be made of very sturdy wood without any cracks and no chipping when sharpened with my Kum hand-held two step long point sharpener. No breakages when sharpened and survived my swatching (see photo) without any issues. Colours are more vibrant than the picture shows. They don’t seem to show up too well over black, though. They seem to have excellent water resistance and are pretty smudge resistant, too. They layered very easily. If they had better black coverage I would have given them five stars - but sometimes only time and use can tell the true quality.

Coloured pencils

These pencils are great! The tin they're in is not so good. It doesn't stay closed. But the pencils are beautiful and buttery. Unfortunately after using these pencils for a bit I have to say they are frustrating! The colours and feel are great but they keep breaking!
