Love this! Great fun for the kids and whole family/

The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the carrying case is not big enough to carry the whole set unless you break it down in pieces every time. But great for the yard and family fun.

My niece loved it

I have this as a gift for my 9 year old niece. She loved it! She's played it a few times and has said that this set is very sturdy. When we opened it, the wood was nice quality and seems very durable.

mallets do not fit inside bag

Seriously disappointed that the mallets didn't fit into the bag unless you unscrew the tops off...which is super inconvenient and will eventually wear down the wood. This should have been made clear in the product description.

You get what you pay for

Mallets aren’t heavy enough for the ball so everyone had to put a lot of effort into hitting. Good for a beginner set to see if you like it.

Perfect. Got for my family. We used it the 1st time at a family birthday party. The kids have had friends over and used it a couple times (kids: 21 & 18 yrs old)

You Get What You Pay For

This is not a very sturdy croquet set. Sticks were hard to screw into mallet heads and once screwed in, you don't want to have to unscrew them again. In fact, I considered adding wood glue to make them more secure. That brings up the problem about not being able to store them in the zippered bag sent to store the set in. The mallets will not fit into the bag, so why send a bag too small to fit the entire croquet set into? Don't see the point in this. The balls are also cheap and not sure how long they will hold up. At this price, probably an okay croquet set for kids.

Great set to just play; Not high quality

Amazing because I got to play croquet... Bag is very cheaply made and has ripped already. Zipper barely worked to begin with; cheap. Mallets are OK. Not balanced properly but its not a deluxe set or anything so can't expect the world. Fences are surprisingly well made and quite durable. Impressed for sure. Balls are poorly made. Picks up knicks and damages WAY too easy for a croquet ball. Stakes are OK but paint job is shotty. My last set lasted ten years (with two winters left outdoors). I highly doubt this set will last that long; but we'll try! PERFECT for an afternoon in the sun and some drinks.

Decent for the price

Pretty decent for the price of it. The plastic on the tips crack easily, but again, for the price and having kids I won’t complain.

Nice family game

Im not sure if serious croquet players would like this but for the occasional family use, I would definitely reccomdnd this. Nicely packaged and the quality should provide years of enjoyment if not abused.
