The god of toasters
I never knew what I was missing out on until I bought an elongated toaster. Hotdog buns? Rolls? Sourdough? This thing will toast it all in stride! I'll never be able to go back to having a toaster that can't handle all sizes of bread. It's a convenience I never knew I was missing. Outside of the wonderful elongated shape, it toasts just fine and haven't had any issues with it.

Works great
Wide and long slots accommodate many products. Long style fits well on kitchen counter

Great toaster!
We use larger sliced sourdough bread and rye bread in our house - those slices fit perfectly here! And, we can get in 4 slices of the "normal" size bread. Only negative it takes longer to toast bread than my previous Cuisinart 4-slice toaster.

BETTER THAN OUR LAST TOASTER
Good toaster, pretty consistent, and fits 2 (regular- i.e. square loaf) slices of bread in each slot. My complaint is-and I don’t know if it was assembled incorrectly or what, and images here and elsewhere don’t really clarify-the short cord comes out of the front of the unit. I basically have to have the controls facing the wall/outlet while in use, which is inconvenient. Probably should have returned it but you know, it works, and there are bigger problems in life.

Very lightweight. Agree with other reviewers about finicky darkness level nob.
Styling is good. No doubt it will dent easily. Amazed at exactly how light weight this toaster was compared to what was a good quality regular double toaster that had, sadly, ran it's course and served us well. Little surprised with the two prong plug vs. heavy three prong what likely was a ten year or more old toaster, as well. Uncertain I would buy again. You get what you pay for.

Just a cheap toster - you get what you pay for
I'd read many reviews about how this toaster was a top performer, with the caveat it didn't last long for some people. Well, my experience is not good in any way. It toasts very unevenly, and small changes in the toast setting make big changes in the toasting. The toast setting knob has black indicator on black dial which is virtually invisible. The lever, which you normally can raise to lift the toast high enough to remove from the toaster, doesn't move enough to make a difference with most bread. And I've had many slices fall off the bottom of the bread holder and get stuck. Every time I use it I wish I had bought a different toaster. If it at least toasted well, then you could forgive some of the weaknesses and think "at least I didn't pay much for it", but the poor toasting makes this an item to not buy.

Looks good, toasts perfectly but warranty coverage only good in United States
This unit replaced a brutal Sunbeam toaster that couldn't do the only thing a toaster is supposed to do. Afterwards the Sunbeam 'service' group also dropped the ball and sent me the wrong replacement product twice then quit answering my emails. Still waiting for the return authorization email for the replacements too. Anyway.....so far the Cuisinart toasts perfectly though it's all metal and gets quite hot to the touch. Looks decent enough on the counter too. Unfortunately it's a US purchase sent to Canada with an instruction booklet that disavows ANY warranty coverage outside the United States. A US customer should have no reservations about purchasing this product from my observations so far but for non-US buyers I guess it's up to you.
