Perfect, except…

Honestly its basically perfect. Have no complaints except one. It sort of destroys corks and many times bits of cork has fallen into the bottle and therefore into my wine glass. Could be user error, but this is my only electric wine opener that has ever done this.

Every wine lover needs one!

I gave this to my daughter & SIL. They love their wine & love their new Cuisinart electric wine opener. Makes opening wine bottles a breeze. And it looks smart on their wine bar. This was one gift that was definitely a hit.

A big disappointment

I made my decision to buy this brand because of the name recognition, should be best around, etc. However, it appears to be badly flawed, and I believe it is a production error. The corkscrew does not seem to line up correctly so that it rarely completes its mission, stalling out and leaving a big mess both on the counter and sometimes into the wine itself. That means having to withdraw it and go to the traditional corkscrew to complete the task and sometimes strain and decant the wine. Would not buy it again!!! (It sure look pretty, though!)
