Seems to be great. Sturdy. Bolted right up to my skoolie
I have a 34" frame on my skoolie. This bolted right up. Seems very sturdy, and had no issues. Bolts seemed to be painted gold, like normal grade 8 bolts are. When I had to take one off all the color was gone and it looked like a normal bolt. Hopefully they'll hold up. I'd definitely get it again. I think it will work well.

Buy new drill bits
Fit my 1979 Chevy K10 shortbed perfect. Drilling the frame upside down isn't fun, get some new bits. I used some other Grade 8 hardware I had on hand since the squarer washers weren't contacting the frame. No big deal.

Quality hitch and hardware!
1986 GMC K35. I welded tubing to a floor jack and slid into the hitch for ease of mounting as there has to be holes drilled no matter where it’s positioned. Hardware is the best I’ve seen in a mounting kit. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy anything from Curt.

Needed drilling and bumper removal, but looks great
Installed this on my 1969 c20 long bed. Needed to drill 2 holes on each side of the frame to bolt it up. I have a replacement aftermarket stock bumper and needed to remove it to install the hitch as the hitch bolts hit the bumper frame when you were trying to drop them into place. Also trimmed 3/8” off of the bottom of the license plate frame to get it to clear. Took an hour longer than expected, but looks great and is very heavy duty.

Will NOT fit a 73-91 Suburban... but did it say that???
I bought this hitch for obvious reasons: Class IV hitch for a class II price. Excellent! The BIG type said it fits my '87 Sub, but it won't w/out replacing/relocating my gas tank. Went back to Amazon site and found it says "in SMALL type: "This will fit your '87 Suburban. EXC CARRYALL/SUBURBAN/PANEL." So, WTF is it telling me it fits my 87 Sub? Dugh! Bottom line I'd like to keep this hitch as have been looking for a long time for this bargain. Can I make it fit and will it be a safe class IV hitch? We shall see. When I received the hitch I was ecstatic. Then utterly dismayed and angry when I found it didn't just bolt right up. This hitch is for pick up trucks w/straight 34" rails and a spare tire hanging underneath. NOT a Suburban w/a rear GAS TANK between the rails. Be warned! Read the SMALL print over and over, then triple check the manufacturers info... and then triple check it all again. The only consolation I have is that if I can't make it fit, then it was such a deal that I know I'll get my money back selling it on Craigslist to a guy with a Chevy PICKUP. Screw return shipping. As they say: "Buyer beware."

Bought the special deal damaged package scratched pant still usable.
Tow package was actually bent on both ends. It wasn’t a big deal for me I was able to porta power them out easy enough. But it would be a good idea to actually look at them stating chipped paint and delivering a bent tow package it’s really honest business practice. Paint was flawless the packaging protected the paint from whatever happened to it. Either way I was happy with it, but the next person might not be
