EASY TO INSTALL. To install this sway hitch ball mount on your vehicle, simply insert the shank into your vehicle's 2-inch hitch receiver. The rounded shank makes installation easy. Then, secure the shank with a hitch pin (sold separately). CORROSION-RESISTANT. For long-lasting use, this ball hitch is protected with a durable black powder coat finish, easily resisting damage from rain, dirt, snow, road salt and other corrosive threats. READY TO TOW. Hitching up your trailer is easy with this 2-inch ball mount. It has a 2-inch x 2-inch shank to fit virtually any industry-standard 2-inch receiver. The sway control tab accepts a sway ball with a 5/8-inch shank (CURT #40093 recommended). DEPENDABLE STRENGTH. This sway control ball hitch is constructed from high-strength steel and rated to tow up to 7,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 750 pounds tongue weight (limited to lowest-rated towing component). SWAY CONTROL. This sway control trailer hitch ball mount equips your vehicle with a standard ball hole and an integrated sway control tab to mount a sway control unit. Sturdy and good fit

Bought this to add a sway control for a 3,000 lb travel trailer. The trailer started to sway around 60 mph. The hitch came fast, fit well, and helped solve the problem.

Is not a thick metal hitch. Bends easy and is flimsy

It works, but I'd expect something a little stronger for anti sway.

DON"T FORGET TO DISENGAGE ANTI-SWAY WHEN PARKING! IT WILL BEND! That said, it works when you are on the road just fine. I would expect a higher grade metal for this. The weld is spot on, so no tearing though. Still content with the purchase and I didn't bend it beyond useable, but buyer beware.

Very Nice Hitch

I bought this to pull my pop up camper with a 4runner. More of a precaution than a must buy. However, the fit and finish is very nice, and it works as advertised. I am glad that I purchased it and would not hesitate to do it again.

good quality

well made, good welds, good paint job. The only reason I took off a star is that they didn't grind the welds flat. That is only an issue if you have a ball with a large base. The top weld will have to be ground flat or the ball will be crooked and never stay tight.
