The CURT adjustable trailer hitch ball mount with dual ball from CURT is made with high strength steel, and is built for durability and strength for dependable and safe towing. Built for varying applications, the adjustable ball can be raised or lowered for varying heights to ensure level towing. The dual ball has two sizes in one, preventing the need to carry more than one attachment. The highly versatile design works with multiple vehicle-trailer combinations, providing for a rise of up to 4-1/2" and a drop of up to 5-1/2", and the dual ball attachment can be used with other CURT WD shanks. Anti-rattle technology encourages a quiet ride providing reduced noise for passengers. The unique vibration resistant clip design prevents the need for two separate clips and installs snugly over both pins with just one. Heavy Duty

This Chinese made hitch is pretty heavy duty. It weighs a lot and feels like a full 40 pounds. Reduces your allowed ball weight by that much. Looks cast as one piece of steel with a mat coating of some type. Heavy duty ball mount is easy to flip over as needed by removing the two included pins. Has a rubber noise reducer behind the ball attachment piece so when flipping or adjusting the ball mount drop, it takes some inward pressure to realign the pins. Pins do not lock and have a single shared spring clip holding them that worries me a little. I would have preferred two locking pins or two separate spring clips that went through the pins not around them in a groove. Does not come with a hitch pin and I think it should have for the price. You will need to buy your own pin. You may want to consider a locking hitch pin, however, that will not prevent you from losing the attached ball mount which does not lock. A little sloppy in my 2" receiver so you may want to buy a hitch tightener to keep the clunking to a minimum. Good for a larger truck but NOT for an SUV or small pick up. Just too heavy. Will have to see how quickly this rusts.

It's a beast!

It's heavier than your standard hitch but that's to be expected with the functionality you gain. Came with everything I needed to get hooked up and pulling a trailer. You will need your own receiver pin as it doesn't come with one. I would recommend getting a lockable receiver pin as this unit will attract a thief. I'm able to use either a 2" or 4" inch drop just by pulling the two pins and moving the ball to the correct holes. I would buy again and highly recommend.
