You Need a Lift

You'll need a lift to install the power wire to the battery. Also, the Hitch should be installed AFTER the wiring. ( It was way more difficult with the hitch in the way of removing the plastic cover bottom of the trunk.) Keeping the power wire away from the exhaust is more challenging than you would think. Routing around gas tank is a pain. I followed brake lines as best i could, but often you can't see. So if you pay someone to install this, and they tell you it will be an hour, pay them to take two hours. There are many ways to do this sloppily. Avoiding sharp edges and heat is key.

I have 2016 Lexus RX350 with no trailer package, ...

I have 2016 Lexus RX350 with no trailer package, and after reading all the reviews, and the Amazon check fit said is work with my suv. Sadly after receiving the item and install as instructions. All lights work except running light. I tested and retest, it doesn't work. Lucky it was purchased from Amazon, returned was the least of my problems.
