Fits 2022 HRV Sport AWD

This does fit a 2022 Honda HRV sport all-wheel-drive. Even when I called Curt to confirm they said it probably wouldn’t fit. I was told it’s still in engineering. It does fit. I just installed it.

Amazon said this wouldn’t fit my HRV but I decided to order and try it out and it worked fine. Some interior needs to come out and the main power wire isn’t easy but I managed to get it done properly.

Terrible instructions as to be expected but overall the product was fine and functions properly.

The instructions were difficult to interpret but we figured it out eventually. Overall it was fine and we got the job done, it functions the way it should

Good kit.

Good kit. One thing that is not obvious is there is not enough power in the rear of most vehicles so you will have to run the supplied power cable from the battery to the rear of you vehicle.

Easy install...

Easy plug and play install on my 2019 Honda HR-V Sport AWD. Hardest part was figuring out how to access the wiring. (YouTube was perfect for that!) And like another customer, I did not run a wire from the battery. I simply used power from the accessory outlet in the trunk.

Bon produit en général, j'ai sauvé beaucoup de travail et de temps en branchant l'alimentation 12V sur la borne a l'arrière du socket accessoire de la valise, au lieu de passer un fil jusqu'à la batterie. ( L'alimentation 12 V = Fil vert a l'arrière du socket, fusé 20 Amps,180 watts) J'ai simplement utilisé un connecteur Wago 3 conducteurs pour faire le joint des 3 fils. Le convertisseur fonctionne seulement quand le clé est dans le contact (ACC ou RUN) en plus ce qui est bon pour évité de vider la batterie quand le véhicule est arrêter.

Awesome trailer light control package.

The unit came with all the necessary parts. The hardest part was running the cable from the unit to the battery under the car. Luckily I had access to a hoist so that went really smoothly. Works just fine and I can store the extra cables in the spare tire compartment when not in use. Works like a charm.
