There is nothing like the luxury and power that go along with heavy-duty towing. 5th wheel RVs offer a deluxe, home-away-from-home experience unlike any other, while gooseneck trailers possess a strength that far surpasses most other trailer options. As with any trailer, however, 5th wheels and goosenecks must be equipped with the proper lighting and electrical systems, and tend to require even more complex connectors than a standard receiver-type trailer setup. Make things simple with a CURT 5th wheel / gooseneck extension harness. These wiring harnesses are designed to put an extra connector socket in the bed of your pickup truck while still retaining power to the rear connector socket mounted on your bumper. This is done by plugging into the back of the existing original equipment (OEM) harness and routing through the body of the truck to a hole in the truck bed, providing a connector that is ready to accommodate your 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer. This CURT extension harness is designed to work with 7-way RV blade connectors and comes in a length of 7'. It is compatible with certain years of the Ford F-150, F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty (see application to verify fitment). For trucks with an aluminum body, galvanic corrosion can become a problem when installing vehicle-to-trailer wiring without the appropriate protection. This kit includes isolators that allow you to install the wiring harness extension in an aluminum truck bed without having to worry about ruining the truck's finish. It includes four bolts for secure mounting and four plastic well nuts to isolate the fasteners from all aluminum surfaces.

Oem quality.

Easy plug and play install. Drill a couple holes and done. Works flawlessly like oem and no wire splicing. Highly recommend.

Now I have power in the bed of my truck

Installed in my2018 Ford F-150 so I could plug in my electric cooler for family road trip. Easy installation, hardest part was deciding where I wanted to mount it. Took about 30 minutes to install. I also purchased a 7 pin to 12 volt adapter to power my cooler

Trailer connected, trailer disconnected

Ever get this trailer connected, trailer disconnected flashing back and forth on your Ford super duty dash? I did for about 3 weeks and then figured it out. The rain or car wash water would dump out of the truck bed and go right into the 7 pin on the back bumper and fill it with water, and short out the connections causing the problem. You may be able to unplug it and let yours dry out, but mine was super corroded so I got this replacement harness and it fixed the issue, no more problems since. And this only takes about 15 minutes to change out.

Perfect addition to the bed of my truck.

No more worries about having to have the cable hanging over the tailgate from my fifth wheel. Installation was very simple and it’s all plug and play. I should have done this earlier.

worked great it came with the isolator kit for the aluminum body trucks like my 2017 f350. If i would of bought one of the other kits i would of had to pay a extra $20.00 to buy the isolator kit separate. The only thing I wish they would of done was keep this kit with a 10 foot cord I would of liked to get the plug a little further forward in the bed for my camper. This kit only came with a 7 foot cord. It would work great for a 5th wheel. Other then that it worked great and works good with my camper.

Cheap tie-wrap

Overall the product is fine. And the instruction are clear. My biggest concern is the quality of the tie-wrap. For the price I would expect something better. All of them failed during the installation. I hope this is not a reflection of the quality for the rest of the product.
