This product runs off of AC/DC power. 5/8-inch 11 spindle thread accepts a wide range of 4-1/2-inch accessories. Works great, but loud, and the instructions should have shown how to use the hex wrench

The tool works great as expected, but it is quite loud. I know this is pretty standard for angle grinders, but I have a battery powered angle grinder that I am comfortable using without ear protection, but this angle grinder is loud enough that I can feel myself losing my hearing if I don't wear my ear plugs. Also, it comes with a hex wrench for changing grinding discs, which is great but it was not obvious how to use it, and I see several other reviews here saying things like 'useless hex wrench' or 'didn't provide tool to change discs'. It DOES work- two of the holes in the spindle where you would put the normal angle grinder wrench will actually fit the hex wrench, and with the spindle lock down, turning the hex wrench will actually tighten it down. Works great once you figure it out. The instructions had no mention of this which is really an oversight on their part.

Great for the price

For anyone that does a lot of fabrication you know time is money so buying cheap tools is going to cost you on the long run.. I’ve used Dewalt brand tools for years and have never had a problem with them…and these work like a beast…one thing i would recommend is spend the extra money on getting the paddle switch instead of the lock switch, it’s a little more but you don’t have to worry about the paddle malfunctioning..once you take your finger off the trigger it shuts off..I first started with the lock switch one I liked it, until one day the switch malfunctioned while I was cutting a piece of steel & my hand got caught in it & cut it so I immediately brought it back to the store and got this one & now I’ve had this one for about 10 years

Works well and powerful.

Great little angle grinder. I’ve used it a few times and it works great. Only complaint is the safety latch on the paddle trigger. It’s kind of a pain to manipulate. It’s probably by design but it’s inconvenient so it loses a star nonetheless.

It's a fine tool, but it didn't come with a blade removal tool, it came with a oversize Allen wrench that fits no where on it...

Burned up without warning

Well, I liked it until it died. I had only used it a few times, but it fried today -started arcing inside, then lost power. It never felt hot to the touch, nor gave any other warning sign. So.. just don't push it too hard.

Good grinder but hard to find the type 1 guard

OK the grinder itself looks good. However, one thing that concerns me most is the type 1 guard. The grinder comes with a type 27 guard for center-recessed discs. According to the manual you need to get a type 1 guard for the flat disc (diamond discs and a lot of cutting discs). I eventually find a seller who sells the guard for about $45. Are you kidding me? I bought this whole grinder for less than $100 and know I have to pay $45 for just a guard?? This is insane.

Pin wrench missing

There was no pin wrench supplied for disc removal or fastening? An Allen wrench came with it for no purpose at all since it does not fit anything. No accessory can be mounted on the grinder without a pin wrench. It is kind of useless.
