These are good enough for the money and convenience.. just dont hold the hot item too long.. to remove from oven quickly, it works fine :)

Not the same

I bought the same one from crate and barrel; I was so happy to find it on Amazon. When the product arrive; it was clear that the quality has decreased over time. They don’t make them like they used to!

Easy to store and work just as well as anything else

I was worried about the grip at first because of the nubs but I haven't once felt like what I was holding would slip from my grasp. I haven't had any trouble with feeling the tempature through any part of these. I find it much easier to store two of these in a drawer than bulker towels or mitts and I always prefer to save space. Also when I was younger I lit my hand on fire because I didn't realize the burner was still on when I used a towel to remove a pot from the stove and it caught on fire while wrapped around my hand. Might sound silly but with these I never have to worry about that again. Same goes for towel corners falling into what you're trying to pick up! Its weird that they only sell them in singles because i definitely need two whenever I have something heavy but I did buy two to start for that reason. Overall I've been very pleased with them. Still not a perfect solution but I prefer them now to towels or mits.

YOU ARE ONLY PAYING FOR 1 NOT A SET OF 2!!!

My household has used these mitts for yrs and needed new ones when we lost one. We originally purchased these yrs ago from Bed, Bath and Beyond, but was unable to find them in store. Decided to check amazon and assumed you get a set of 2 for the price of $9.99! Once we received the package we were very disappointed that for ONE MITT it cost this much! Decided to keep them as we can no longer find them locally... we feel slightly ripped off, SO BUYER BEWARE! The mitt is perfect for small and larger hands. I like that it covers all fingers enough to grab anything out of the over. When we use full covered mitts we end up with some accidents so the dexas mitts are perfect! We prefer these over the small pincher mitts. 4 stars due to the confusion of the item details... if title does not say set of 2 it means you are only paying for one, which is bizarre when it comes to mitts that often comes as a set to begin with.

Love it

I work in a bakery and I am exclusively in charge of the glazed product so silicon mits are a must! The fuzzy ones can't be used as the fuzz gets in the food and the little squares are such a pain to position your hands right on as you lift multiple trays out of an oven and load them on racks. These give me both grip and no worries about leaving any bits of them behind in the food like with the fuzzy mits. Also as they are not cloth they don't stick to the glaze nearly as bad. The nibs are a nice feature as they increase the space between your hands and the metal and allow for airflow for even more cooling on top of offering increased grip. Love them and my job would be a real pain without them. So much so that I went out and bought them with my own money. My one con is that these are sold individually and I had to order a second to get one for each hand.

Another good solution

Already owning one of these purchased at a bricks-and-mortar store, and not being able to find a mate (for my other hand) in my travels, led me to search online. It was difficult as the only logo on it was "Michael Graves design". But I'm sure it is a Dexas; and, it's made in the U.S.A. I paid more for the dark grey, but my kitchen doesn't "do" red. These jobbers are the perfect solution to pulling a hot piece of glassware out of the oven if you've ever had one slip. Actually, they're good for taking any hot piece of ware out of the oven. If you have smaller hands, like mine, they protect your knuckles too. (A footnote here...the last knuckles before my wrist are not really covered, just the first two sets.) Those with larger hands may need to find some other type of silicone mitt.

Too bulky

They are thicker then some other mitts on here but I find them just too bulky to try and pick stuff up with...

Fits great, works great!

The product works better than all of the other single hand grip mitts that I've used. Only one comes with this order, but it's of great quality. I did not burn my palm when using this product.
