Just bought a second one
I love what good quality this mat is, especially given how affordable it was. It is really light, and it's a cinch to put in place. I liked it so much that I just bought a second mat to go under a desk chair in my guest bedroom.

Made in the USA
I have just started using this mat and will write another review later, if I'm allowed to write two reviews. I'll say that this mat is twice as thick as the Amazon Basics mat I bought a year ago and started to go to hell a year and a week later, cracking and breaking apart. This new mat is fairly pliable, so the wheels of my chair are immediately making impressions. But if the mat doesn't dry out, it should be fine. When I bought this mat, I didn't realize that it is made in the USA. An important added bonus! And it cost 30% less than Amazon's foreign replacement mat to boot. So even if this one lasts only a year, I'll still be ahead of the game. So far so good!

Excellent chair mat for an office setting with industrial carpet
Our office is set up with standard low-pile carpet squares over concrete flooring. This Dimex chair mat works perfectly for office use. It arrived rolled up (for practical shipping) but relaxed after a few hours of being flattened with weights (as per the included instructions). The PVC material appears to be durable with no noticeable defects or cracking. The mat stays secured to the carpet via the cleats/tacks on the underside. Perfect for low-pile industrial/office carpets but it might not be the best for shag or more voluminous home carpets (should be fine for berber carpet). The 36"x48" size mat is just right for under a desk in either a cubicle or office.

Tightly rolled, very difficult to unroll
The mat is great, now that it's unrolled and rested. Instructions, including (and especially) how to get it out of the box, were in the center of the rolled up mat, in the box. The box is unique - one side is as long as the mat and is rolled in the mat (like really thick tissue paper) to prevent the nubs on the bottom of the mat from damaging the top of the mat. The instructions state to open the small square sides and slide the mat out. Now you know. I fought with the mat for 10 minutes to unroll it, nubs down, and put heavy stuff on the corners. Would have been faster with two people. I ended up using a rolling set of file drawers and my chair to hold the ends down - I couldn't stack books tall enough fast enough to keep the pile from collapsing as the mat rerolled itself. Otherwise it works great and is the right size.

Heavy duty
I read reviews of this and a couple of other similar products. I decided on this one because it is thicker and most likely will last longer. Some of the reviews I read said people had problems getting it weighted down so it would lay flat. I am 80 years old and did this alone and it was no problem at all. In fact, in a couple of hours, I took the weights off the four corners and easily put it under my office chair. It is indeed much more sturdy than the mat I had before.

Much better quality than my last one at a lower price!!
I gave this protector 4 stars because it came rolled up in a long, rectangular box instead of a flat box. It took two of us large fellows to unroll it (it is rather thick in composition) and 4 days weighted down on the carpet to get it flat! Now, it is a 5 star carpet protector but the "easy way" packaging method cost this seller a star.

Works as intended, some divoting on plush carpet
Works as expected. We have semi-plush carpeting, I am getting some divoting. The grippers do a good job of keeping it in place. No cracks or breakage so far.

Does what it's supposed to
The size is perfect for my new office space in our guest bedroom. I was transistioned into another role and had no choice but to work remote. I was very hesitate about the whole working from home experience but have adjusted well. Sometimes my chair doesn't roll all that easily but I think it's more of an issue with it being a used office chair and not so much the mat. It does the job, fits nicely in the space so I'm happy.

Office Mat for chair
Rec’d in timely fashion. Good bottom cleats for low pile carpet. However it is too thin IMO. Office chair and my weight(maybe 210 lbs) leaves dents or impressions in it. Makes the casters work harder to roll on its surface. Do not think I would buy again

plastic is too soft
Its a nice thick plastic and looks very durable, however it is way too soft and dents from the standard caster wheels on my office chair. I am 190lbs and 6 ft tall so not a real heavy guy and after maybe 30 seconds or a minute of sitting in one spot the plastic gets deep dents and makes it really hard to roll the chair around.

Sink Holes!
Within the first hour my chair left indentations. Definitely wouldn't buy this brand again. Have to struggle with it until I have to replace it which won't be long.

Good, but not as well made asa previous one
Matt was thinner than the one that it is replacing, so it deflects more as a chair rolls across it, which might affect its longevity.
