Puppy Bottles
My pups that are 2 weeks old, at first, wanted nothing to do with these bottles; they, of course, wanted the real thing! After a small change to the nipple and all the things below, pups now suck the bottle down! Some things to consider when your pups are not wanting to suck on the bottle: 1. Is the temp of the milk too cold? It should be between 100-105f 2. Are they getting too much air? 3. Is the formula clogging the nipple? This one is very common and happens all the time. More often than not the problem with formula is that it quickly separates and settles so the formula will clog the nipple. You can "solve" this by making the hole a bit bigger. 4. It's not mom!! No, it's not. Perseverance and stubbornness on YOUR part is what's going to get you past this. Also, in my case, I stretched out the time between a feeding and put the pup that I know is a little piggy on the nipple. Once the nipple smelled like another pup most of the other pups had no issue giving it a try.

Perfect for Miniature Dachshund newborns
The media could not be loaded. We had 2 miniature Dachshund puppies we needed to bottle feed. We tried the packs of bottles for dogs on Amazon and they were all difficult to get the formula in and the puppies had a hard time latching or getting anything out of them no matter how many holes we poked in them. These are very tiny puppies, miniature Dachshunds and they have had no trouble latching with these premie bottles. The opening is nice and big so easy to put formula in to. They don't leak and they have been a life saver for us and the babies. They are putting on weight and thriving with these. So grateful these worked and for other reviewers who shared their experience using them with puppies.

Useful for giving vitamins
I use these cute little bottles to make sure my 15 month old takes his daily vitamin D drops. I've been using them since he was about 9 months old. The product image doesn't show it but they do come with the standard clear plastic nipple covers like other Dr Brown's bottles. This makes it easy to prep doses for a few days and store them in the fridge. I know there are less complicated ways to give vitamins but this is what works for us and I'm happy with the purchase. Keep in mind that this does require his cooperation (which can be a lot to ask from a toddler) but I've found that on the days when he doesn't want to drink from the bottle I can just unscrew the cap and he'll drink from the base like a cup.

I used these bottles to feed 7 chihuahua puppies.
The nipples had a small enough hole to keep the puppies from choking

Perfect for Puppies
I had a newborn puppy that was small and needed some extra feedings in between nursing...when I used a dog bottle or syringe he had a lot of trouble and milk was always coming out his nose and rattling around in his airway. I used these for him and they were awesome! Not once did he have milk coming out of his nose!

Great for orphaned puppies!
I purchased these bottles for use with an orphaned chihuahua puppy. He was born a little prematurely so he had a lot of difficulty feeding due to a weak suckle response. He didn’t like the small pet nursers that are most common so I decided to try these rather tan dropper feeding him for weeks. The size of the bottle (15 ml) is perfect for his tiny tummy and the nipples that come with the bottles are soft and easily compressed. This little puppy came to me near death and thanks to these bottles he is now growing as he should be.
