as of late 2011, gloves have changed and are no longer as good!
Oct 2011: I have used a box of these gloves over the past year for general household use - weeding the lawn and garden, various home improvement projects, spray painting, general cleaning, general repair tasks, removing stickers with solvents, cleaning parts with acetone, etc. They are thin to allow good dexterity for more precise tasks and also slightly textured for a good grip. They are quite strong and I have had no problem with the fingers ripping off or the glove body tearing, like I experienced with a previous brand I tried (blue color). These Dynarex gloves will rip/tear if used for too heavy duty of a task or accidently catch and pull on a very sharp pruning saw, for example, but that has been very rare for me. They fit well and are flexible to move with the hand, rather than constricting movement and causing hand fatigue like a previous brand I used. I really like the unobtrusive and classic black color of the gloves, especially when I am out working in the yard and don't want to call attention to my hands with a bright purple or blue glove. I am back to purchase another box since I have run out and was very satisfied with the first one. Update Jan 2012: I agree with the other reviews that these gloves have changed and are no longer as good. I purchased some in Nov 2011 and they are far less nice than the ones from a year before. I even checked the boxes when I received them to see what the difference may be. They are now manufactured in a different location (I think the new ones in Malaysia, can't remember the previous one and I have thrown the old box out) but have the same UPC code. I am updating my review to 3 stars now (previously was 5 stars). The newer gloves seem to be slightly thinner and not as good of texture (smoother than the older ones). But the main difference is in fit (size medium). The new gloves are tighter and pull slightly in the area across the knuckles at the base of my hand. The fingers might also be slightly shorter. In any case, they are not as comfortable and seem to be lower quality. Very disappointing.

definitely a winner!
I bought these because I wanted some non-latex gloves to keep in my safer-sex kit. In the past I've used similar latex gloves (ex Black Dragon) that I bought at stores like Babeland, but I wanted something a little more cost-efficient and latex-free is never a bad thing. The fit is a little wonky, but I expected that because I have fat little toddler hands, so all gloves ever are too long in the fingers. The good news is that they seem to grip my fingers better than latex gloves do - even though the fingers are too long, I can actually tug them down further so that they fit my fingers, and they actually stay that way. It feels like my hands sweat less while I'm wearing them, too. And they feel more thin and natural - less like I'm wearing a glove. It's worth noting that they're not nearly as 'airtight' in the wrists as latex gloves I've used, so I wouldn't count on them for protecting anything past the very top of your wrists. Considering I originally bought them as a safety measure, in case anyone had a latex allergy, I'm surprised to say I'm actually happier with these than I am with similar latex gloves.

Perfect for Chemistry..
These gloves are perfect for any science researcher who wants the strength of nitrile over latex and/or making sure body oils do not mix with harmful chemicals. I bought these gloves because I was running out of my regular latex gloves. I chose nitrile because nitrile tears when it is punctured, so it is easier to notice when safety has been compromised. With latex, a puncture will not tear.. it will remain a small whole. This might sound fine, but if there is a small needle puncture in the glove, there is no way of knowing safety has been compromised. Also, be aware that these gloves are SMALLER than standard sizes. If you typically wear a small, buy a medium... and so on.

Serves its purpose
I work as a cashier and money is dirty. I would have given it 5 stars if I could find some that had powder. My hands tend to get pretty clammy inside and I even got a heat rash once. I puff a little baby powder on the inside. I can usually wear them for about 3 hours at a time and when I take them off they shred off, yet I haven't had a problem with them ripping too much when they're on. They're pretty durable but not invincible and I've even worn them for oil painting and they held up great.

Very helpful!
I work part time in a chemical lab, and as I am allergic to latex, I am constantly looking for nitrile gloves in small sizes. I typically order the blue gloves, but decided to give these a try. I feel as though they are thicker than the blue gloves, and give me a better grip. They also seem to fit my hands better. They don't, however, seem to have as much "give" as the blue ones, and therefore tend to fit small. I've also ordered a box to use at home when cleaning/crafting/dying my hair and in every situation they have worked perfectly. All in all I was very happy with my purchase.

Good gloves
I was lucky to get a box before the global pandemic restricted their sale to only health workers (for good reason). They are great gloves and I will get more if they ever become available again:)

These Gloves are Way Better than GREAT ! ! !
It is always difficult purchasing things on the internet, you never know what your going to get. These gloves are way better than expected. I ordered the Small and they are the best fit. Most gloves I have tried are always slipping, loose fitting and always curl up at my wrist. These gloves fit perfectly to my hand and wrist, it feels like I am not wearing gloves which is awesome. These gloves are the best for sure. I am so happy with these gloves I am purchasing several more boxes because I find when you find something you really like they always either are never available or are discontinued.

good nitrile gloves, good price, would be better if thicker
I like to wear disposable gloves while shopping to avoid picking up other people's germs and to avoid hand washing - just peel the gloves off afterwards and I can eat something if I want. I keep Purell in my car, handbag, and at my desk . These nitrile gloves are not conspicuous in public. They almost look like black leather gloves. BLAZE orange gloves are still the best on Amazon, but they cost nearly twice the price.
