The Eastman Dielectric Heat Trap Nipples measure 3 inch in length and have a 3/4 inch male inlet pipe (MIP) connection. The dielectric nipple are thoroughly galvanized to prevent against rust and corrosion. The self-cleaning fittings, as well as the high-impact Teflon lining, prevents these heat traps against corrosion. These dielectric nipples feature a flapper that prevents the escape of heat when the flow stops. This pair of Heat Trap Nipples are designed for use on water heater inlet and outlet hookups. The pack consists of a blue (for cold inlet) and red (for hot outlet) making installation easier.
