Great quiet pump

The 730 is submerged in a reservoir for a hydroponic set up. It’s completely silent. It’ll suck down to the 1/2in as advertised because I have a ball valve connected to drain my system and it pushed 20gallons out very quickly. Good to know for emptying. Strength is great and I provided photos to show give an idea of the distance it’s pushing water. About two feet up to a pvc two way fitting and then out around 6 feet on both connections. It’s a closed system and the pvc is threaded and cemented where need be and if this pump lasts 24/7 for a year or more I’m certainly buying again. Hardware stores have the 3/4in to 1/2in fitting that screws right into the pump, then you can run the 1/2in pvc all over. I didn’t use the fittings that came with the pump because it’s assumed you’re using tubing for all this and for that they’d work great. The options provided were strong plastic fittings, I just didn’t need them for my application. I hope the photos provided will give you confidence that there will not be a loss when pumping at least the distances I’m using them for.

I use the pump to add declorinated water to my aquariums. It works great and has good flow.

Great reliable pump

Been using this one for 6 years to pump bathtub water out to the garden. While it only gets used for a few minutes a day, part of the year, it's been working very reliably. Back to get a new one now that it seems I may have broken a part of it.

Best pump around

I have a hydroponic greenhouse and dozens of pumps and slowly but surely as old pumps break I replace them with these. Haven't had one fail yet, and the bottom draw is awesome! And these will push water 10' into the air, to feed any plant walls you may have.

Great pump, no filter though

Never had a bottom draw pump before and figured id give this one a try. Excellent flow through but I wasn't aware that there the normal prefilter that most pumps have. I assume this is because of the bottom draw, my fault for not digging deeper. Really great pump to get every last bit out of the bottom.

VERY GOOD PUMP

Great pump totally serviceable breaks all the way down for proper cleaning and service have used this pump for over a year both constantly and intermittent with no problems filter deteriorates over time so a mesh bag is useful
