Brews fast and strong. Easy to use
Great percolator that I've been using for months now. It takes about 7 minutes to brew 12 cups of coffee or tea. Pours very easily. Very easy to use. Put the beans in the filter, put the tube through the middle of the filter, insert into the percolator, put on the top, and press on. Doesn't have a good way to clean the spout or the middle of the tube. But as long as you use course grinds, you should be fine.

Not sure it’s for me!
Firstly, my error was I didn’t pay attention to how much it makes. I didn’t find in my feed for a small one and I have to make at least 6 cups. I’m just 1 person and mainly just drink 1 1/2 cup if that much, a day. Also, was doing the Asian coffee that you boil water and it has the 3 on one in packett. Before then was my Keurig that failed and it was my 3 Keurig. So decided I get a percolator. Love how it works but so messy to make. Now I pass the return date. Don’t want to use it much. What to do with it now…

Great Coffee
This baby is old school coffee technology at its best!! Makes great coffee!!! Who needs these expensive machines! If you want just straight up old fashion cup of coffee this is the winner! Recommend getting filters so your coffee comes out better!

Lovely percolator for off-stove use
Update Sept 27, 2022: I have had it now for a few months and still love it. I bought a little tag for it from the $ bins at Target, now it's even cuter. It cleans easily and I don't miss my Keurig at all. The reheat feature is the best and I use it all the time. I didn't like the acrylic knob or the aluminum down inside the bottom (see pics), BUT I can overlook those because of the great functionality this percolator has. --------------------------------------------- Original post July 2022 I researched many brands and types of percolators. I was initially set on a stovetop one, but the rewarming feature and auto shut-off and auto ready of this unit made it appealing. I didn't want to get distracted with the kids and forget my coffee was still heating on the stove an hour later! Yikes. I have been very impressed with this one. I realized that like most coffee makers it is basically a 6oz cup not 8 oz, so when I want to make 4 cups of coffee I fill my glass measuring cup to 3 cups or 24 oz, pour it in and add 4-5 coffee scoops/tbls of coffee and it makes it just perfectly. It does have markings inside that go only as low as 6 cups, so this is why I measure out 24 oz, because it would only be 4 cups if there was a mark for it. Inside the coffee basket there are markings that go from 4-12, so I'm not sure why they didn't do the same for the inside of the kettle, but it is only 6-12. Not a big deal because I don't use the markings. Can hardly see the ones on the coffee basket anyway. The percolator states that it is all stainless steel, but it does have a very small heating part in the bottom that is aluminum where the stem sits down in. So that part will discolor and have a slight corroded look over time, but it's fine. I sometimes leave the extra coffee in the pot until the next day, but take out the coffee basket, and then reheat by turning it on and letting it get the coffee piping hot again. It's way hotter than my Keuring ever gets, which I enjoy because I can add half and half and its still too hot to drink for a few mins. I like my coffee REALLY hot and REALLY dark brewed. This unit meets that way better than a Keuring or even my expensive Nespresso ever could. If you ever accidentally make it too weak it's pretty easy to add more coffee to the basket and brew again, but only after it has cooled enough to open and for the unit to start again and not just keep warm. The keep warm feature is also a favorite. After pouring my first cup I just place the unit back on the base and press the button again and it will keep it warm for another 30 mins or so. Brilliant unit. So happy I didn't get a stove top one. This makes it a breeze with no babysitting or accidentally leaving it too long. Also, the basket holes are so tiny that only the finest coffee grounds could possibly escape, but they have to be miniscule.

Hot coffee quick
I really like this coffee maker it’s fast and hot. Make sure to by the larger grains though so you don’t have residual ones in your cup

Good Coffee
This unit is listed as a 12-cup capacity but the product description a little further down the page states "Capacity: 4 cups". The shipping box also describes it as a 12-cup model. There are internal line-markings from 6 to 12 cups and when filled to the 12-cup line it takes 72 oz of water which calculates to 12 6oz "cups". So other than this erroneous description (why I removed a rating star), this is a good product. When filled with 72oz of cold water it takes 9 min until the coffee is finished perking. Even with course-ground coffee there is quite a lot of coffee grounds on the top (outside) of the coffee basket lid making a bit extra mess for clean-up but surprisingly there do not seem to be very many 'fines' in the coffee. I prefer perked coffee and have found that stainless does not seem to affect the flavor - all parts of this unit, that are in contact with the coffee, are stainless except for the plastic-type see-through knob on the lid. I would prefer if this was glass just in case the plastic might affect the flavor but there is no obvious plastic-influence to my taste. A good feature is that the power-corded base stays on the counter when pouring the coffee so there's no cord attached directly to the pot. Not to detract from the features and utility of this unit; it is unusual to need such a big pot and since perking doesn't take very long a smaller-sized pot would find a more compatable spot on the kitchen counter. I have not been able to locate the same format-unit in, say, a 6 cup version.
