Check circuit amperage draws easily. Just plug Fuse Buddy into the circuit to see the amp draw. Remove the fuse and replace into the Fuse Buddy end piece, thereby maintaining fuse protection during testing. Very handy to check amp draws on difficult to access parts like fuel pumps and A/C compressor clutches. Variety of uses and a time saver.

Fuse Buddy stays put and won’t fall out of the socket like test probes do. During testing the fuse is removed and replaced into the Fuse Buddy; this way the circuit being tested maintains fuse protection. Fuse Buddy ends are molded into the shape of the fuse itself. Clever design allows for easy connection into fuse sockets. Can test circuit current up to 20 amperes - an easy way to check fuel pump amperage.

Battery drains unless turned off and disconnected.
You'll have to buy your own batteries. Several batteries were drained quickly for me. I'm not sure why. I've been turning it off and disconnecting it after use now.

Be nice if it came with the specialized battery. A23 12 volt battery
Haven't used it yet and I can't because the odd ball battery was not included with it.

ESI 304B 20 Amp Fuse Buddy ATC Tester

it does the job, with a couple quirks...
I have both the 304B and the 302M, after about a year the 304B has begun draining the internal battery even while powered off. it is great tool, but there is no timed power off. so you could go through many small A23 batteries. It doesn't readily accept auto resetting circuit breakers, one thing that could be costly in fuses.... It has saved me on many occasions to find parasitic draws in both automotive and marine applications, or anything with an ATC or MINI fuses. My advise is to get the new multi port, for doing both or all three MINI, ATC and MAXI fuses...

Easily find parasitic draws!
I use this almost every day and it makes it very simple to confirm a draw
