It tore where the leash comes through

It fits well, it’s water resistant, however, today, while walking her, where the leash comes through, came apart and caused a rip in hood.

Truly Watrproof with great fit and quality

Finally found the truly waterproof doggy raincoat--it's not just a fabric--it's a slicker, so it's like rubber-coated fabric and sheds water beautifully. Northern California can have lots of rain, so my Boy needs this. The XXL fits his long (25") body and having an adjustable neck makes a big difference in comfort. The belly band with velcro means he doesn't have a buckle or thin strap rubbing against his chest and chafing. People laugh at us when we're walking in the rain because we both have our yellow slickers on, but we're dry and warm! Great buy and great quality.

This is a well-designed, attractive canine rain slicker

A few weeks ago, I ordered a warm coat for our spaniel/lab mix, who is 10 years old and more sensitive to cold than she used to be. i was so impressed by the quality of that item that I searched immediately for a rain coat made by the same brand, and found this one. Given that the price of this rain coat on Amazon is so reasonable, my expectations for the product were not high. So I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked the item and found that the coat is very well-made. I ordered XL for our pup, which turns out to be a bit too big for her (though XL in the warm/winter coat was a tightish fit). The XL covers the dog's entire torso with no gaps and covers the top of her tail, as well. The only challenge is that s/he is prone to unfeminine leg-lifting. I was worried that she would soil the coat in this way, but she (so far) has adapted her marking behavior so that this hasn't been a problem;) The reflective striping on the coat is both attractive and functional. Dogs don't generally wear coats in my neighborhood, even in the rain, so our little lady turned a lot of heads last night! Like other reviewers, I question the utility of the hood attached to the coat -- its design doesn't conform to my dog's head shape - I can pull it up to her forehead, but it falls right back down. However, that is not a significant limitation. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase, and I will definitely seek out on Amazon other items made by this same manufacturer.

Cute but too small for my guy

This coat is too cute and seems made well enough for the cost! I ordered a XXL for my golden retriever because he had multiple lumps removed and we need to keep stitches dry. Unfortunately, while it fit length wise, it would not close around his chest area. I wish they provided more measurements. For reference or anyone else trying to figure out if it will fit. My guys chest is 36" and the straps barely touched under his belly. I would say that it would fit no larger than a 30-32" chest measurement comfortably. Sad I had to return this!

Great

Great buy. Wish I would have gotten it a bit smaller but I will fix it. My dog is a husky 45 lbs. I thought I’d get it bigger so it can cover him more. It does cover him more but it moves to the side and the front it’s too long so when he’s smelling he trips on it. Good quality for price though

I bought an XXL for my 80ish lb dog and size S for my little one (about 12lbs). The XXL covered the dog pretty good and fit ok. But, the small fits ok but doesn’t cover the dog. The velcro is not so strong it comes undone pretty easily. Overall good product and quality.

Needs a bigger hood

I wish that the hood was a bit larger. The straps were almost too big around my dogs body but the hood wasn’t quite big enough to go over his head. The leash hole is nice but then it cause the whole coat to move when his collar moves. Other than that, kept him dry and we love it!

This is a nice rain coat

This is a nice rain coat, but the sizing chart is way off. I ordered an XL for my dog who measures exactly 24 inches from the base of his neck to the base of his tail. XL is supposed to fit a dog up to 29 inches long. I exchanged it for an XXL which measures exactly 24 inches, but is supposed to fit a dog up to 34 inches long.

Fashion Pets Rainy Days Yellow Slicker X-Large

Good quality for the price. I bought the X-Large size for our lab retriever.He's a field lab so taller and longer than the show labs so I knew it wouldn't be quite long enough. I wish there had been an XXL size available as he's 38" long but this was the best option that I could find at a reasonable price and glad I bought it.

High and Dry!!

Quality is great - just need to alter it (XXL) to fit my med sized pooch and it will be a perfect fit. She isn't a fan of the hood so I will be stitching that down so it doesn't bother her. The belly strap secures the raincoat very nicely in place and I like that there is another strip of Velcro at the front of the raincoat just under the chin for ease of putting it on her and removing it as well.

Velcro

I bought this jacket for my chocolate late he's 75lbs, cute jacket but the velcro doesn't stick when wet. It comes off easily. Velcro is not strong enough to hold.
