Professional service technician's first choice.
Edit, Sept 2019: Added photo of Pelican case full of these manometers (two layers deep - several ranges). I really, really like these! Original post: I really like this series of Extech manometers. I own 3 of the 0-0.5 psi, 2 of the 0-2 psi, and one 0-5 psi. I also own about a half dozen Dwyer manometers of various scales. The Extechs are more useful for my work as an industrial burner technician. The min/max/avg feature is very useful for catching transient readings or smoothing out a fluctuating pressure. The display can be illuminated which comes in handy in the usual grimy/dingy/dark plants. On occasion I've used the data logging software, but it's not the most useful feature. The standard 9 volt battery last a very long time. I use rechargeable batteries in mine and get weeks of service between charges. They have an auto power-off feature that can be defeated if you want the manometer to stay on indefinitely. There's even a 120v wall outlet power supply that you can fall back on if the battery is dead. I've only ever had one of these break. The screen was cracked while packed in my luggage. I put these to the test on a daily basis and continue to buy more.

Very accurate tool. Invaluable to my work.
I bought this with a large pitot tube (not included) to measure air speed in hoses on farm equipment for my job. The device offers different units of measurement which are really handy to keep from having to do conversions afterwards. If in a highly dynamic environment, or doing multiple tests at once with quickly changing variables, I highly recommend using the software that either comes with the device or can be downloaded on their website. Very, VERY useful for graphing outputs rather than trying to guess an average.

It works
The manometer works as advertised. I've used it for static pressure tests on HVAC equipment and leak testing on natural gas/ lp lines. The casing is molded plastic and could stand to be a little more rugged. The battery cover in particular seems to need refinement as mine has a tendency to come loose. I have not tested the software or usb connection. I have no use for that feature, however, the recording feature is great for pressure testing lines. Update. Having owned this meter for about 2 years, I can tell you that it is over all a good meter, but has a few serious issues. The first problem is the temperature range. If you leave it out in your vehicle in below freezing weather, the display screen goes out. The second issue I have had is that the case has cracked in the upper right corner by the screen. Now the screen will only come on if I squeeze it together tightly. Right now, I'm looking into getting a new manometer and I don't think I will be buying this one again. It just isn't rugged enough for my use.

Measures both positive and negative pressure’s very accurately
Bought this to measure small amounts of gas pressure. Works great and very accurate

Good product for single pressure range
Meter works great, data logging software has a bug in that if you are recording for a long period the time stamp gets out of whack. Running software on Microsoft Surface Book, Windows 10. Other than that I have used it as single pressure and differential pressure. Took some time (minor) to figure out the recording setup, but I am someone who does not read directions until all else fails.

Pro User Recommended
I service industrial burners for a living. Customer pay good money to fly me around the world to service their equipment. This series of manometers by Extech are the ones I use most often. They are reliable, remain accurate, have very useful recording and min/max/averaging features. Extech makes this item in 3 ranges (this on is 0 to 0.5 psi). It also comes in 0 to 2 psi and 0 to 5 psi If I had one nit to pick, it would be that they turn on too easily. I must remove the batteries to keep them from accidentally being turned on in my bag or shipping box. They do turn off by themselves after a few minutes, but I have had them drain the battery during transit.

Ok
HVAC tech. Not accurate compare to expensive one. But it is still working good and good to buy because of cheap price.
