Nice bright bulbs. Need more "color" options.

I got these to replace some other Par bulbs that quit working. Nice light output but too warm (2700k) i wish they had a less orange option of around 3500k to brighten up the kitchen without going too white/blue.

These lights are bright!! My husband needs a lot of light to see things these days, so he is very happy with them. They are significantly brighter than 800 lumen bulbs. They were just installed so I can't speak to the durability, but they are definitely bright!!

In the pack of two, only one worked. The one that works is very good. The defective one returned to Amazon for a refund.

Exactly what I needed

I moved into a new home and had twelve 75W incandescent floods lighting one of my rooms. They are broken into three zones with dimmers. At first I looked into 75W equivalent LEDS, but they were short on lumens. These 85W equivalent had just the lumens I was looking for (1100). They have a slight warm color and match well with the incandecents I swapped out. They dim very well through the whole range without any noticeable shuttering/strobing. And of course the 12 of them use less power than 2 of the bulbs that were previously there.

True color LED with the highest lumen output than what’s currently available in all major big box home improvement stores. The best, brightest, high quality dimmable lamps you can purchase for can/recessed lighting high or low ceiling, even looks great in gallery with recessed gimbal for illuminating wall art.

More lumens, more visibility.

Daylight color great for our use. Additionally the 85 watt creates the lumens that helps to cover the slightly shaded areas under the 65 watt bulb. Great in our walk-in/storage room making it easier to see items on shelving.

Considerably brightened my kitchen.

I was able to install these 85 watt equivalents in 65 watt fixtures since they were LEDs and drew far less current. Kitchen was brighter without having to add more fixtures.

Nothing against the quality of the product...

First let me say i have a background in lighting for film, television, photography. So quality of light is everything. That is where this product and many LED light fail. I do not like the feel of LED lighting. It has an unchanging glare to it. The shadows are soft. The punundrum is nonexistant. But as far as this product goes, a bit too blue (as in daylight blue), but overall good quality. It's great, it adds light to dark places.

Clean and Bright Light

Hated to find so many store bought lights were only 65 watt equivalent. I wanted a high CRI light as well. I bought the 5000 K version which mimics real sunlight. These lights are easy on the eyes. Colours are accurate as well. The light they produce is clean, wide and bright enough to be useful for my needs. It is nice to see something that is truly better than expected.

brighter but not 2700k

brighter but not 2700k... will return I need matching bulbs.. these do not match sylvania or philips 2700k these look more like 3000k
