The FJM Security dust shutter lock is very versatile and is perfect for furniture, electronic enclosures, HVAC or any other current cam lock application. Lock comes with a hex, nut, 1-1/4” cam, screw and keys all made of steel – the stop cam is reversible so that the key can be turned left or right to open. The cam lock is constructed of non-ferrous zinc alloy which makes it weather resistant – the dust shutter lock also has a shiny chrome finish. Dust shutter cam lock has a small cylinder length of 5/8” and can fit material thickness of 3/8” – the lock has a standard diameter of 3/4". FJM Security dust shutter cam lock comes keyed alike – each key will fit multiple locks, allowing you quick and easy access to your cabinets and valuables.

After using for awhile I've changed my review to 4 star.

Wanted key alike locks. These are standard size and fit nicely. The problem with them is: it's difficult to insert the key. With most locks you just push the key in. With these locks you have to line the key up with the center of the slot and make sure to push it straight in. Sounds like any other lock, right? No if you don't line the key up perfectly it doesn't go in. Also the dust door on one of the 2 locks I bought hangs up. Eventually I will replace these locks. I just don't want to spend the money right now. UPDATE: After a few weeks usage the locks work a lot smoother than when they were new. I ordered another brand and did an install, but went back to these because they are more compact and now work better after "break in" period. (And maybe I'm getting used to them now)

Great lock, but runs long

Excellent construction & feel. Unfortunately, the cam, washers and screw head add quite a bit to the overall length of the lock. I had to do some work to finally get the lock to fit in the space allotted. I also needed to get additional keys afterwards, and FJM was very helpful in working that issue out. So I'm docking a star for the length issue, but am otherwise very pleased with the lock quality.

Product is acceptable, With some extra work I was able to use them although none of the 3 I ordered came with the 1-1/4" straight cam.

Cam in picture NOT included...

Item came without cam. All 5 of them. How can anyone use a cam lock without the cams? Ordered to meet a deadline, now was a waste of money and have not met the deadline.
