Financially awesome!

I love to cook and this is great for not only leftovers but for making meals ahead. I just finished grinding 2 pork Boston butts. One I packaged and sealed in half pound amounts to be used in meatloaves, etc. The other I made into sausage patties and sealed a few into individual bags. My freezer is getting full and I don't worry so much about freezer burn.

Costs more, but it's way better!

In my initial foray into vacuum sealing meats, veggies, soups, etc. I purchased a less expensive type from another brand that flipped over the bag. It did the job, but often did not create a complete vacuum seal that didn't leave noticeable air. This version, while over $100 more than my previous one, offers significant benefits that made the investment worth it: it is very sturdy, creates a powerful vacuum that gets air out of the bags even around odd shapes like filled bell peppers, an easy to clean drip tray that pops out, bag dispenser built into it, a safe bag cutter built into it that works smoothly, no lid to force closed every time, and bag sealing is as simple as pushing the bag into the front of the device. This thing was REALLY worth the extra investment. The ONLY downside is that it wastes a little more of the roll than I'd prefer. I haven't measured it, but it seems like about an inch whereas with the flip top version I could seal pretty much right at the top if I wanted. I love this thing and would buy again. Am considering buying for friends, too.

Easy to use

I mostly love the item and seals decently. I sealed some chicken thighs but while defrosting, the seal didn't hold and I had chicken fluids in the bottom of my refrigerator. A good tip for buyers is to immediately separate your portions then partly freeze then vacuum seal.

BEST customer support EVER

The customer service is terrific! We have had this machine for 2 years. The suction part broke and I called support. The rep spent a few minutes troubleshooting and determined I had to send back the unit and today FoodSavor has shipped a new unit by 2nd day air. Great job FoodSaver!

I love Amazon Warehouse

The machine arrived with a water damaged box. Even the instruction manual had been wet BUT the actual Foodsaver was Brand New and undamaged in the original packing as the Warehouse stated. It was half the price of a new one with a pristine box. Worked perfectly and I saved $200. I love Amazon Warehouse.

So far worth every precious penny we paid for it

Super easy to use out of the box, but you Must ready the full manual to fully understand it’s real potential! Great way for storing everything you may want to freeze. Plus with the zip lock bags leftovers are simpler to put up and keep fresher for reuse.

Foodsaver forever

J'utilise beaucoup le sous-vide chez moi et ma vieille machine (discontinuée) a rendu l'âme après plusieurs années de service. J'ai été habitué à la fonction automatique, i.e. on insère le sac et ça démarre sans avoir à toucher un bouton ou quoi que ce soit. C'est principalement ce qui m'a fait choisir la V4400.

Easy to use but be prepared to buy lots of rolls or packs of bags for it! So easy to use and brings back memories how we used to do it with a candle, omg )))
