Paraffin was clumpy never completely melted

I wear a size nine shoe and was not able to get my foot in this bootie without cutting open the back. The paraffin never completely melted even though the heat indicator turned red. The paraffin left a very oily residue on my feet that had to be washed off. Would not buy again.

Wish these were better...

The do not heat up, the boot is too small and it's quite messy. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned into a stressful comedy of errors!

Greasy and messy but effective

I've always loved getting a paraffin treatment at the salon but it's so expensive these days that I wanted a way to get that same feeling at home. These are ok but don't really deliver the same experience or results. I kept having to restart the microwave because the wax wasn't heating all the way through. When they finally got completely melted, the scent was a nice soft, pleasant lavender. The holes to put your feet through seem really small and I didn't want to cut them any larger and risk the wax leaking out. I wear size 7 so I was a bit surprised that I had to struggle to get them on. Other than that, they felt really nice on my feet. Make sure you have an old towel and a few paper towels nearby when you take them off because there will be some 'shed'; small pieces of wax that don't come off with the socks. They left my feet feeling soft and moisturized but the whole process was kind of greasy and messy.

Messy and size limited

I have large feet. I could barely get my clodhoppers in the booties and the fit was absurd once I did get them in (after cutting them). Paraffin leaked, things got messy, feet didn’t get softer and it was just not a win for me. I love the idea of this but some alterations need to be made to make this product work for us “big-footed” ladies.

Soft feet

I had no idea what I was doing going into this. Being a mom of 4, I've neglected myself for awhile now. My feet are sooo dry and lotion doesn't seem to really help. So I decided to try something new. You do have to microwave them longer than the instructions say, but not too much longer. I suspect it may have more to do with wattage on the microwave itself though. Any microwave instructions can be this way, even with food. These booties were a little hard to get on. I had to cut them a little further to fit my feet inside. Because I had no idea what I was doing I didn't realize your feet don't go in the wax, theres a mesh bootie inside the wax they go into haha After using these my feet felt soo moisturized. I do have to say I tried to use them again but because I had to cut them further the clip wasn't long enough for them and they leaked a little while being microwaved.

Softens but a lot of work

I prefer these paraffin wax foot bags over other chemical foot masks. These wax filled booties actually sold me on getting a full paraffin set up. One because I like the feel so much and two because these were difficult to work with and I think a traditional warmer will be easier. The like the portability and space saving elements of this product but I found the wax boot didn’t have enough wax to coat my entire foot in a thick even layer. The heating was scary because even with the heat sensitive indicator, I couldn’t tell what was the correct temperature. Really like the paraffin wax itself but the amount and delivery system need work.

Therapeutic and softening

This paraffin foot treatment took about 3.5 minutes to melt in the microwave. There is an inner sleeve for your foot to slid in. They are soothing and moisturizering like spa treatments. They give you a clip to reseal and reuse 4 times. I question the sanitary aspect of that, even though it would only be on my own freshly washed feet. I saved in a ziplock in the refrigerator and let get to room temperature before reheating. I will be tossing after this second use though.
