Fun

Bought these for Halloween for my 7 year old bc the reviews were decent for brown hair. They took a bit of working but with getting the hair wet and then using the chalk and then blow drying it worked! She was happy as could be!

Works great for a short time

The instructions say to use on damp hair so the first time I just had a spray bottle to spritz her hair with but it honestly has worked better to have it actually wet after a bath and just toweled dry. It goes on brighter and it doesn't take as much work that way. It does make the hair feel a little stiff and it will get all over everything but that's all just part of using hair chalk. It was pretty much gone after about 8 hours. The colors are great!

Can be messy but good overall

Overall this hair product is pretty nice. I like the ingredients and it doesn’t make your hair super crunchy. It was a little hard to figure out at first, the hair definitely needs to be wet (not soaked) to work. It will color your hands but it washes off easily. I would buy again!

Loved this product!!

I would give this a 5 if it wasn't for how easily the dye comes off. My children have golden blond hair and needed it to be black. I wet their hair and rubbed it in, and after it dried in 10 mins they would be gray. My hair (brunette) did great with the green. I advise to not brush after applying and to not do drastic difference like blond to black.

BUY SOMETHING ELSE

Not worth it at all. Ruins the hair and the experience of having fun. Makes both parent and the kid frustrated to the max. The reason I gave two stars: it somewhat works a little bit it you break it in half and use the area that is broken but still crap.

Kid friendly

These are perfict for kids! Simply wet the hair and brush though the hair leaving bright colors that was out with out making a mess. No chemicals or harsh smells. Parents can do it or you can allow your kids to do it them selves as it safe and easy

Color works

This Hair chalk is definitely fun to use. I followed the directions to spray the hair with water but, I also had to spray the chalk as well for it to show up. It was very vivid after that. My son enjoyed it!! This is a great product without a permanent commitment.
