Frost King Plastic Turbine Vent Cover- Easy to Install

I have used a several of these over the years. My house is not shaded from about 10am until 6pm, so this thing gets a lot of sunlight each day. It will last around six months or so, maybe a little more and then it needs to be replaced. I don't have this on a wind turbine. I need to use this a vent that is no longer in use, and it tends to leak some in a heavy rain, so it needs to be covered all year long...

The best thing about this is it fits my turbines. You just pop it on and tie it. That's it.

Remember to use the tie strings provided!!!

I was very happy with this item. However, don't be lazy and forget to use the tie string provided, thinking that the elastic band would suffice. I lost several covers due to strong winds in my area.

Better than just regular trash bags!

My dad was using just trash bags on his roof, so I told him these were better and so far they seem to be. They are much thicker than they look and so far so good with the quality.

Happy otherwise

Does what I needed it to do but my only complaint is I wish it was elastic and a short string to tie not a long and over cord string for tie downs.

Look around for sturdier material, ultraviolet light resistant

Home Depot offers a rubberized canvas cover that will out perform this hands down and last multiple years at that. I wish Amazon stocked it instead. This was less expensive, and will fail from wind damage or ultraviolet light exposure. When you consider paying for the shipment and having to replace more often the lower price doesn't look so good. After one winter season on the roof I can tell you the bag held up to the ultraviolet so far, but the cord turned to powder, yes actual powder. I cannot recommend this product as the cord is needed to keep the bag from lifting off and blowing away. Go with the canvas bags.
