Design defect?

Lasted less than an hour before spikes started snapping off (pictured). Used while raking my lawn. The threaded 13 spikes are set in the “shoe” and secured with a nut underneath. The head of the spike is designed to sit in a beveled cutout so the top of the spike is flush with the top surface of the shoe. This esthetically works but it effectively thins out the plastic point of contact. That plastic is added to the bottom part of the hole but it does absolutely nothing to reinforce the compromised area. I will NOT return this product because it works well once the spikes are structurally reinforced. I bought metal washers and used them to increase the contact point surface. It’s best to washer the top and bottom. The head no longer sits flush (pictured) but it’s unnoticeable when wearing. Poorly engineered.

Works great

These definitely worked well. Im a size 7 shoe and I did have a few times where it slipped off my foot. Easy to put on and take off

I really wanted to like these but, they came no wear close to fitting my feet. I'm a size 12 and my sole overlapped several inches. Despite how rigid the straps look I had to retighten them constantly. Two of the spikes were stripped out but there was two replacements that came with it. (assembled buy no spares now). took over an hour to do quarter of my yard and only turned my ankle 3 times lol. I ordered a dethatcher/scarifier the same day these are now a conversation piece

Hubby said they worked

Ordered these so hubby could aerate the backyard and spread new lawn seed. He said they worked well and were easy to put together.

Waste of money

They do not stay tight. I wish I could get a refund. Spent more time tightening them than anything. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Yikes!

Make sure your medical insurance is current. These are an ankle fracture waiting to happen. These are good in theory but no matter how tight you tie them or how moist the earth is, unless you step perfectly flat, you will roll your ankle wearing these. I definitely would not recommend these unless you want to help an orthopedic surgeon pay for a new car.

Parece que funcionan bien

The media could not be loaded. So far so good, no aparent damage after first use. Very important, they should be steped-on only in the lawn, not in a hard surface. The spikes are not leveled an this may break the device. Hasta ahora bien, sin daño aparente después del primer uso. Muy importante, deben de colocarse en el mismo césped y no caminar sobre superficies duras. Los clavos no quedan nivelados y podría romperse la suela plástica o los clavos.

bon pour petit terrain... facilement

pas cher...doit etre assemblé mais facile. Moin de 1000 pied carré sinon trop long a faire et se pacte de terre facilement
