Digital thermometer measurement range -40 to 302 degrees F (-40 to 150 degrees C); precision thermometer accuracy of +/-1.8 degrees F (+/-1 degree C). The probe thermometer has a 4.5-inch stainless steel stem and flat edge, non-roll case for protecting the stem when not in use. The stem thermometer has an instant read readout; kitchen thermometer is Fahrenheit/Celsius selectable and completely food safe. Digital thermometer is ideal as a food preparation thermometer, lab thermometer, and agricultural/horticultural thermometer.

Simple to use

For the price rang the instrument is simple to use with straight forward functions. Used under hard conditions worked well for a limited time. The instrument outlasted mechanical thermometers under the same wet conditions.

Great little tool. Easy to read. Calibration was accurate. Easy to reset min/max temps. I use it in greenhouse to measure soil and water temperatures and outside in ornamental pond for water and lily pot soil temperatures. Cleans up easily.

Purchased two of them. Neither would turn on. Battery likely dead. Took five screws to open. Once opened all fittings fell apart. Threw them away. On the back it said "Made in China" I wonder.

It's not a toy.
