Not durable

I had it for only 14days and now is in the trash. The product was great but it was too fragile.. it was in the box and it fell off and now Is I. Pieces.

First off it’s def not plastic, it’s ceramic. Was expecting plastic as written. Grinds my herb okay, if the herb is sticky it just balls it up rather than grinding. It’s cute tho and I guess I’ll keep it as a spare

Adorably Useless

The surface area where the top grinds against the interior is simply too small to be useful. I previously owned a (now discontinued) competitor brand of this style grinder and it worked well for grinding roasted cocoa beans, but had about twice the surface area to work with. This one is quite top-heavy (and therefore vulnerable to falling over and breaking). It's not dishwasher safe (says "hand wash only" on box), so it's a pain to clean. And it's simply not the right tool for most jobs. Herbs are better muddled or finely chopped with a sharp knife. Spices like cinnamon or nutmeg are better grated with a dedicated spice grater of the microplane variety. So what you're left with is an adorably useless knickknack. Returning.
