WILL UPGRADE IF THEY FIX ISSUES. UPDATE..DON'T BUY....NOT STRAIGHT

NOT STRAIGHT. WASN'T DAMAGED, JUST NOT MADE CORRECTLY. WRONG MEASURE the finial is not 53", it is 51". The BOX is 53" and since there is only one inch of space on each end, mine came in damaged. The finial was not plumb (straight up and down) and the tip smashed. 1. CHANGE THE AD TO REFLECT THE TRUE MEASUREMENT 2. PACK THE ITEM IN A SUITABLE BOX, A 51" HEAVY PRODUCT IN A 53" BOX WILL USUALLY BE DAMAGED. The finial itself seems substantial. Thanks. FOUND OUT ONE WAS USED..........BAD COMPANY.........BAD PRODUCT.........

It's gorgeous and just what we needed for our turret. This finial is well worth the cost, well constructed, shiny and new (do I hear a Madonna song?).
