Pleasantly surprised...

I live in an apartment and have an apartment-sized fridge???? These aren't size hogs???? One container is staying home and one is going to the work fridge. FYI...You'll need both containers to hold a head of lettuce (red leaf, at least) I took a star cause the lid not snapping on is weird, but maybe if it snapped on, moisture would collect? Thus, making my lettuce soggy? Science, b×*$hes???? Easily remedied with a rubber band though.

Lid doesn't snap on securely

I bought this for my dogs' favorite treat - baby carrots. It works great for that, but the lid doesn't snap on securely. I've forgotten that a few times and dumped them all on the floor as I pulled it out of the fridge. I wouldn't but it again.

Excellent vegetable storage

I had tried everything to keep spinach from going bad quickly, and had never gotten more than maybe five days. These containers have kept spinach really fresh in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Good value for the price

These come in a pack of two and I've been using them to store washed berries and fruit. One of these can hold a one pound container of strawberries. I'm giving 4 stars because the lid doesn't latch at all. It basically just sits on top of the main container with some wiggle room. I also believe this would be very prone to cracking if dropped since it's the type of plastic with no give or flexibility.

Don't put in the dishwasher

These boxes are wonderful for storing fruit or vegetables and to keep them fresh longer. There is a stamped icon a stamped icon on it that says not to put it in the dishwasher but my husband didn't read it and stuck it in the dishwasher and and the bottom Box warped. Be warned!

Lid does not close tightly

I liked the idea of this container. Not quite deep enough for a full Romain head and the top is loose fitting. Does not snap shut.

Odd lid

Thus seems to work well with keeping my lettuce fresh! The lid is not easy to secure, often I go to grab it out of the fridge and only the lid is in my hands. Not used to the lid not locking in place.

Love these

DO NOT WASH IN DISHWASHER They hold alot and keep fruit nice for quite a while. I like that I can just add all my fruit into a container wash it and then put it in the fridge without having to use a bunch of dishes. I accidently melted a lid from using the dishwasher so don't do that! Hand was only
