Gordini Children's Wrap Around gloves are designed with squirmy hands in mind. These waterproof, insulated children's gloves go on effortlessly and stay on. Megaloft synthetic insulation, waterproof Dri-Max inserts, and moisture-wicking lining keep hands warm, dry, and comfortable. Durable flex fabric shells and textured synthetic palms and fingers offer enhanced grip for gripping ski poles or sled handles. These gloves have large openings for easy over-the-sleeve fit and secure hook-and-loop closures help keep snow out. The age range for Gordini's children’s mittens and gloves is approximately one to five years old. The best way to clean and dry Gordini gloves/mittens: wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soapy solution if needed, then hang-dry away from a direct heat source. Do not machine dry or dry clean.

Cheap and cheaply made, yet well-liked
I bought the size XL for my 5 year old. She really liked them and had no trouble getting them on by herself. We've had other gloves and mittens whose liners pull out and then the little kid can't get them on, but this didn't seem to be an issue with these. Unfortunately, the velcro lasted less than one winter. They are useless without the velcro closure -- the same super wide cuff that makes them easy to put on also makes them useless without the closure. While I'm disappointed in the quality, my daughter loved them and the price is low enough that I'm ordering a second pair. OR (Outdoor Research) mittens get passed down through three children, while Gordini gloves seem to fall apart within one season. But OR doesn't use pretty colors like Gordini. And while OR mittens last several times longer, they also cost several times more... so the overall cost per number of uses may be similar.
