Came with no instructions ☹️ but I still was able to put it together
Had no instructions but still wasn’t too bad to put together. Make sure you put the middle piece with the holes to the back or the mallet handles won’t go all the way down to the bottom. (Had to redo mine ) Haven’t used it yet (live in Minnesota and still snow) but it seems pretty sturdy and well made. I think it was kind of expensive but I hope I will get what I paid for.

Solid set, a bit pricey
This croquet set is complete, pretty well made, and fun to play with. It's a bit on the pricey side for what it is, but I'm happy with the quality overall and expect it will provide family fun for some years to come.

Solid set
I had been dying to get a set so my kids could play like I did growing up. It didn’t come with instructions, but it was pretty easy to put together. It took about 20 minutes. The mallet heads are a little narrower than I remember from when I was kid. I don’t know if that is accurate, but that’s how I remember it. I would definitely order it again. Hope that helps.

Not the croquet sets of old but its good moderate quality. I like the wrapped handles.
Not the croquet sets of old but its good moderate quality. I like the wrapped handles. Has the smaller ribbed balles and the colors are ugly would be my only complaint.

Memory Maker
I grew up playing croquet with my two twin sisters and a twin brother (yes, two sets of twins). My father would not play baseball, basketball or football but he did play croquet with us. I think it was one of the few games he played during his years growing up Amish without a father. So playing now, brings back pleasant memories of simpler times. I know my setup is not regulation but it's how I always played as a kid and it seems there are lots of unofficial variations so here's another. The rules that come with the set are also a bit different than I remember playing. So of course we went with the rules as I remember them rather than something in writing that can't be altered if needed. Assembly of the rack/stand seems straight forward but there is a bit of a twist. You need to make sure that you have the bottom and middle cross pieces turned the right way. At first I thought it made no difference but if you get it wrong the mallets will be stored at an angle instead of straight up and down. It is thrown off because the front edge of the side pieces is angled while the back edge is square so that when you store the rack against a wall the top and bottom of the back can sit right up against the wall. Just lay it out before you put in the first screw. Mallets go on the back edge and balls sit on the front. It seems like these faux-leather gripped mallets are a bit longer than others I've used and the mallet head is longer but smaller in diameter. They do seem to be well made and look really sharp. The end of the handles are threaded to screw them onto the heads. The heads are not laminated together pieces of hardwood, which would be stronger but appear to be made out of a single piece (like all but the very best custom sets). So there could be a tendency for the heads to split but so far there are no problems. The balls are not made of wood like some of the ones we had growing up. They seem to be a hardened resin and the color goes clear through them so it won't chip off. The outside of the balls has a spiraled design. All in all this is one of the nicest sets that I have seen. It should last long enough to create some new memories with grand nieces and nephews, and maybe one day, grandchildren.

Perfect holder, Decent Quality Components
We started to really get into the game croquet during 2020 due to limited activity options..... Since then we've gone through multiple croquet sets and we ordered this one due to its premium looking components. We thoroughly enjoyed playing with this set but we were not incredibly impressed with the quality of the croquet balls. The mallets are nice and the stand is well built, but we really wish the balls were better quality. Other than that, you can't go wrong with this croquet set. The gates are well built and the mallets have a nice weight to them making them comfortable while being used.

OK
Review for: GoSports Premium Wood Stained Six Player Croquet Set with Handcrafted Wooden Stand I have not checked out other sets to compare to this one. I like this set but it is pretty heavy and without any wheels to drag this around like I've seen on some sets, you need to put it in a cart or hand truck or just lug it around in the box. Otherwise it's great
